The AD9625 is a 12-bit monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates at conversion rates of up to 2.6 giga samples per second (GSPS). This product is designed for sampling wide bandwidth analog signals up to the second Nyquist zone. The combination of wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, and excellent linearity of the AD9625 is ideally suited for spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems, and a wide assortment of military electronics applications, such as radar and jamming/antijamming measures.The analog input, clock, and SYSREF? signals are differential inputs. The JESD204B-based high speed serialized output is configurable in a variety of one-, two-, four-, six-, or eight-lane configurations. The Analog Devices, Inc., amplifier mezzanine card (AMC) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver evaluates the performance of amplifiers in 8-lead, single and dual SOIC, 6-lead single SOT23, 8-lead dual MSOP, and 16-lead LFCSP
packages. This add on board can be inserted on ADC evaluation boards using its 7-pin header. Figure 1 shows the AMC mounted on an Analog Devices, Inc., ADC evaluation board.
The AMC can support any of Analog Devices operational amplifiers and ADC drivers in different packages. The user can configure the ADC driver as a Sallen-Key low-pass, high-pass, or band-pass filter, as a multiple feedback low-pass, high-pass, or band-pass filter, or as an inverting and noninverting operational amplifier. The user can also configure the AMC to drive a single-ended, fully differential, or a single-ended signal to a differential ADC.
Optimized power and ground planes ensure low noise and high speed operation. Component placement and power supply bypassing are optimized for maximum circuit flexibility and performance. The AMC evaluation board accepts 0402 or 0603 surface mount technology (SMT) components, 1206 bypass capacitors, and 2.54 mm headers.
All components are placed on the primary side. No components are placed on the secondary side.

The AD5233 is a quad-channel nonvolatile memory,1 digitally controlled potentiometer2 with a 64-step resolution. The device performs the same electronic adjustment function as a mechanical potentiometer with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and remote controllability. The AD5233 has versatile programming using a serial peripheral interface (SPI) for 16 modes of operation and adjustment, including scratchpad programming, memory storing and restoring, increment/decrement, ?6 dB/step log taper adjustment, wiper setting readback, and extra EEMEM for user-defined information such as memory data for other components, look-up tables, or system identification information.In the scratchpad programming mode, a specific setting can be programmed directly to the RDAC register, which sets the resistance between Terminal W to Terminal A and Terminal W to Terminal B. This setting can be stored into the EEMEM and is transferred automatically to the RDAC register during system power-on.The EEMEM content can be restored dynamically or through external PR strobing. A WP function protects EEMEM contents. To simplify the programming, independent or simultaneous increment or decrement commands can be used to move the RDAC wiper up or down, one step at a time. For logarithmic ?6 dB step changes in wiper settings, the left or right bit shift command can be used to double or halve the RDAC wiper setting.The AD5233 is available in a thin 24-lead TSSOP package. Demonstration circuit 761 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204 (Burst Mode operation) in the 2 × 2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC761A-A and DC761A-B for the LTC3204-5 (5V output) and LTC3204-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC761A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V.
The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.
