The ADF4002 frequency synthesizer is used to implement local oscillators in the up-conversion and down-conversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. It consists of a low-noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, a programmable reference divider and programmable N divider. The 14-bit reference counter (R counter), allows selectable REFIN frequencies at the PFD input.A complete phase-locked loop (PLL) can be implemented if the synthesizer is used with an external loop filter and voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). In addition, by programming R and N to 1, the device can be used as a standalone PFD and charge pump.The ADF4002-EP supports defense and aerospace applications (AQEC standard).

The AD7980 is a 16-bit, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDD. It contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the CNV rising edge, it samples an analog input IN+ between 0 V to REF with respect to a ground sense IN?. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage, VDD. Its power scales linearly with throughput.The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus and provides an optional busy indicator. Demonstration circuit 943 is a complete power controller for a USB power device. It features the LTC6047 and provides a full-featured 1.25A linear lithium-ion CC/CV battery charger with timer termination and 4.2V charge voltage, a USB power manager, and a PowerPath manager for the battery. The USB input voltage range is 4.35V to 5.5V and the wall adapter input is 4.35V to 6V. It also features a programmable 1.5A input current limit that can be set at 500mA or 100mA for USB applications. The wall adapter input has overvoltage protection up to 13V. An external MOSFET disconnects the wall adapter when the voltage exceeds 6V.

The AD8375 is a digitally controlled, variable gain, wide bandwidth amplifier that provides precise gain control, high IP3, and low noise figure. The excellent distortion performance and high signal bandwidth make the AD8375 an excellent gain control device for a variety of receiver applications.Using an advanced high speed SiGe process and incorporating proprietary distortion cancellation techniques, the AD8375 achieves 50 dBm output IP3 at 200 MHz.The AD8375 provides a broad 24 dB gain range with 1 dB resolution. The gain is adjusted through a 5-pin control interface and can be driven using standard TTL levels. The open-collector outputs provide a flexible interface, allowing the overall signal gain to be set by the loading impedance. Thus, the signal voltage gain is directly proportional to the load.The AD8375 is powered on by applying the appropriate logic level to the PWUP pin. The quiescent current of the AD8375 is typically 130 mA. When powered down, the AD8375 consumes less than 5 mA and offers excellent input-to-output isolation.Fabricated on an Analog Devices, Inc., high speed SiGe process, the AD8375 is supplied in a compact, thermally enhanced, 4 mm ? 4 mm, 24-lead LFCSP package and operates over the temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C.Applications ?
