Demonstration circuit 2481B-A is a high efficiency, high density, μModule® regulator with 4.5V to 15V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.6V to 1.8V, and it can supply 86A maximum load current. The demo board has 1× LTM4677 and 1× LTM4650 μModule regulators. The LTM4677 is a dual 18A or single 36A step-down regulator with PMBus power system management, and the LTM4650 is a dual 25A or single 50A step-down regulator. DC2481B-A powers up to default settings and produce power based on configuration resistors without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. Demonstration circuit 1320 is a high power density step-down DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3608EWKG (DC1320A-A) or the LTC3609EWKG (DC1320A-B) high current, high input voltage monolithic DC/DC step-down converter. The LT1738 is a switching regulator controller designed to lower conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI). Ultralow noise and EMI are achieved by controlling the voltage and current slew rates of an external N-channel MOSFET switch. Current and voltage slew rates can be independently set to optimize harmonic content of the switching waveforms vs efficiency. The LT1738 can reduce high frequency harmonic power by as much as 40dB with only minor losses in efficiency. The LT1738 utilizes a current mode architecture optimized for single switch topologies such as boost, flyback and Cuk. The IC includes gate drive and all necessary oscillator, control and protection circuitry. Unique error amp circuitry can regulate both positive and negative voltages. The internal oscillator may be synchronized to an external clock for more accurate placement of switching harmonics.
