The AD7175-8 is a low noise, fast settling, multiplexed, 8-/16- channel (fully/pseudo differential) ?-? analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for low bandwidth inputs. It has a maximum channel scan rate of 50 kSPS (20 ?s) for fully settled data. The output data rates range from 5 SPS to 250 kSPS.The AD7175-8 integrates key analog and digital signal condition-ing blocks to allow users to configure an individual setup for each analog input channel in use. Each feature can be user selected on a per channel basis. Integrated true rail-to-rail buffers on the analog inputs and external reference inputs provide easy to drive high impedance inputs. The precision 2.5 V low drift (2 ppm/?C) band gap internal reference (with output reference buffer) adds embedded functionality to reduce external component count.The digital filter allows simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hz rejection at a 27.27 SPS output data rate. The user can switch between different filter options according to the demands of each channel in the application. The ADC automatically switches through each selected channel. Further digital processing functions include offset and gain calibration registers, configurable on a per channel basis.The device operates with a 5 V AVDD1 . AVSS supply, or with ?2.5 V AVDD1/AVSS, and 2.5 V to 5 V AVDD2 and IOVDD supplies. The specified operating temperature range is .40?C to +105?C. For 50 Hz and 60 Hz environments, the AD7176-2specific filter minimizes the settling times or maximizes therejection of the line frequency. These enhanced filters enablesimultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hz rejection with a 27 SPS outputdata rate (with a settling time of 36 ms).System offset and gain errors can be corrected on a per channelbasis. This per channel configurability extends to the output datarate used for each channel when using a sinc5 + sinc1 filter. The on-chip low noise gain stage means that signals of small amplitude can interface directly to the ADC.The device can be configured to have four differential inputs or eight pseudo differential inputs. The on-chip channel sequencer allows several channels to be enabled simultaneously, and the AD7193 sequentially converts on each enabled channel, simplifying communication with the part. The AD7265 is a dual, 12-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation ADC that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and features throughput rates of up to 1 MSPS. The device contains two ADCs, each preceded by a 3-channel multiplexer, and a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 30 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs allowing easy interfacing to microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS; conversion is also initiated at this point. The conversion time is determined by the SCLK frequency. The AD7265 uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. With 5 V supplies and a 1 MSPS throughput rate, the part consumes 4 mA maximum. The part also offers flexible power/throughput rate management when operating in normal mode, because the quiescent current consumption is so low.The analog input range for the part can be selected to be a 0 V to VREF(or 2 ? VREF) range, with either straight binary or twos complement output coding. The AD7265 has an on-chip 2.5 V reference that can be overdriven when an external reference is preferred. This external reference range is 100 mV to VDD. The AD7265 is available in 32-lead LFCSP and 32-lead TQFP.Product Highlights Two Complete ADC Functions Allow Simultaneous Sampling and Conversion of Two Channels. Each ADC has three fully/pseudo differential pairs, or six single-ended channels, as programmed. The conversion result of both channels is simultaneously available on separate data lines, or in succession on one data line if only one serial port is available. The controller enables monitoring of the load current by providing a signal that is 100× the sense resistor voltage.

These circuits were designed to demonstrate the high level of performance, efficiency and small solution size attainable using this part. They operate at 240kHz. The DC2324A-A produces a 24V/5A output from an input voltage range of 36V to 72V. The DC2324A-B produces a 24V/5A output from an input voltage range of 18V to 36V. The DC2324A-C produces a 24V/4A output from an input voltage range of 9V to 18V, making it suitable for telecom, industrial and other isolated power supply applications. They all have an eighth-brick footprint area. Synchronous rectification helps to attain efficiency exceeding 94% (exceeding 95% for the DC2324A-A and DC2324A-B).

The LTC1622 is a constant frequency current mode step-down DC/DC controller providing excellent AC and DC load and line regulation. The device incorporates an accurate undervoltage feature that shuts the LTC1622 down when the input voltage falls below 2V.The LTC1622 boasts a ?1.9% output voltage accuracy and consumes only 350?A of quiescent current. For applications where efficiency is a prime consideration and the load current varies from light to heavy, the LTC1622 can be configured for Burst Mode? operation. Burst Mode operation enhances low current efficiency and extends battery run time. Burst Mode operation is inhibited during synchronization or when the SYNC/MODE pin is pulled low to reduce noise and possible RF interference.High constant operating frequency of 550kHz allows the use of a small inductor. The device can also be synchronized up to 750kHz for special applications. The high frequency operation and the available 8-lead MSOP package create a high performance solution in an extremely small amount of PCB area.To further maximize the life of the battery source, the P-channel MOSFET is turned on continuously in dropout (100% duty cycle). Demonstration circuit 2339A is a high current synchronous step-down LED driver featuring the LT3744. The unique drive stage used on the LT3744 allows the anodes of three LEDs to be connected together for better heat sinking in both the step-down configuration and the inverting buck-boost configuration (shown in a separate demonstration circuit DC1930A). The pros and cons of each configuration can be found in the data sheet.
The DC2339A targets high power LEDs and laser diodes (not included). The 3 LEDs are driven from the same output, but each LED is individually controlled. The input voltage range is 5.5V to 30V.
