The LTC2378-16 is a low noise, low power, high speed 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a 2.5V supply, the LTC2378-16 has a ?VREF fully differential input range with VREF ranging from 2.5V to 5.1V. The LTC2378-16 consumes only 13.5mW and achieves ?0.5LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 16 bits with 97dB SNR.The LTC2378-16 has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisy-chain mode. The fast 1Msps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2378-16 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2378-16 automatically powers down between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate.The LTC2378-16 features a unique digital gain compression (DGC) function, which eliminates the driver amplifier?s negative supply while preserving the full resolution of the ADC. When enabled, the ADC performs a digital scaling function that maps zero-scale code from 0V to 0.1 ? VREF and full-scale code from VREF to 0.9 ? VREF. A logic supply pin allows easy interfacing with different logic levels from 1.62V to 5.5V, independent of the main supply.Available options are compliant with SPI and I2C (master mode only) specifications.The isolated side includes fixed ?5V and 5V adjustable power supplies, each capable of providing more than 100mA of load current. Demonstration circuit 1797A is a combined step-up and step-down DC/DC converter using the LTC3536 monolithic synchronous buck-boost regulator in the 3x3 DFN package. The DC1797A has wide input voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, and is capable of delivering up to 1A of output current. The output voltage of the DC1797A can be set as low as 1.8V and can go as high as 5.5V. The DC1797A supports two operational modes: fixed-frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM) and Burst Mode® operation.

Demonstration circuit 1825A is an isolated flyback converter featuring the LT8300. This demo circuit outputs 5.0V, and maintains tight regulation with a load current from ~1mA to 250mA and over an input from 22V to 75V, with a nominal 48V. The output current capability increases with the input voltage. The DC1825A needs a very small minimum load (~1mA) to regulate the output voltage, thanks to the accurate current limit capability and ultra low switching frequency of the LT8300 at very light load. The standby input current of the demo circuit is less than 400μA (typical) because of the low quiescent current design of the IC and very small minimum load requirement.
