The LTC1864L/LTC1865L are 16-bit A/D converters that are offered in MSOP and SO-8 packages and operate on a single 3V supply. At 150ksps, the supply current is only 450?A. The supply current drops at lower speeds because the LTC1864L/LTC1865L automatically power down between conversions. These 16-bit switched capacitor successive approximation ADCs include sample-and-holds. The LTC1864L has a differential analog input with an external reference pin. The LTC1865L offers a software-selectable 2-channel MUX and an external reference pin on the MSOP version. The 3-wire, serial I/O, small MSOP or SO-8 package and extremely high sample rate-to-power ratio make these ADCs ideal choices for compact, low power, high speed systems. These ADCs can be used in ratiometric applications or with external references. The high impedance analog inputs and the ability to operate with reduced spans down to 1V full scale allow direct connection to signal sources in many applications, eliminating the need for external gain stages.Applications High Speed Data Acquisition Portable or Compact Instrumentation Low Power Battery-Operated Instrumentation Isolated and/or Remote Data Acquisition

The LT5514 is a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with bandwidth extending from low frequency (LF) to 850MHz. It consists of a digitally controlled variable attenuator, followed by a high linearity amplifier. The amplifier is configured with two identical transconductance amplifiers, hard wired in parallel with individual dedicated enable pins. When both amplifiers are enabled (Standard mode), the LT5514 offers an OIP3 of +47dBm (at 100MHz). Power dissipation can be reduced when a single amplifier is enabled (Low Power mode). Four parallel digital inputs control the gain over a 22.5dB range with 1.5dB step resolution. An on-chip power supply regulator/filter helps isolate the amplifier signal path from external noise sources. The LT5514?s open-loop architecture offers stable operation for any practical load conditions, including peaking-free AC response when driving capacitive loads, and excellent reverse isolation. The LT5514 may be operated broadband, where the output differential RC time constant sets the bandwidth, or it may be used as a narrowband driver with the appropriate output filter.Applications High Linearity ADC Driver IF Sampling Receivers VGA IF Power Amplifier 50? The LTC4556 provides all necessary power control, level translation and supervisory functions for a smart card or S.A.M. card interface. The part contains a low noise charge pump plus LDO for generating VCC power, as well as all necessary level shifting circuitry. The card voltage can be set to either 1.8V, 3V or 5V. The LTC4556 includes a card detection channel with automatic debounce circuitry. To reduce wiring costs, the LTC4556 interfaces to a microcontroller via a simple 4?wire serial interface. Multiple devices may be connected in daisy-chain fashion so that the number of wires to the card socket board is independent of the number of sockets. Status data is returned over the same interface.Extensive security features ensure proper deactivation sequencing in the event of a supply fault or a smart card electrical fault. The smart card pins can withstand greater than 10kV ESD in-situ with no additional components. The LTC4556 is available in a small, low profile (0.75mm), 4mm ? 4mm QFN package.Applications Handheld Payment Terminals Pay Telephones ATM Machines POS Terminals Computer Keyboards Multiple S.A.M. The LT1638 is a low power dual rail-to-rail input and output operational amplifier available in the standard 8-pin PDIP and SO packages as well as the 8-lead MSOP package. The LT1639 is a low power quad rail-to-rail input and output operational amplifier offered in the standard 14-pin PDIP and surface mount packages. For space limited applications the LT1638 is available in a 3mm ? 3mm ? 0.8mm dual fine pitch leadless package (DFN).The LT1638/LT1639 op amps operate on all single and split supplies with a total voltage of 2.5V to 44V drawing only 170?A of quiescent current per amplifier. These amplifiers are reverse battery protected and draw no current for reverse supply up to 18V.The input range of the LT1638/LT1639 includes both supplies, and a unique feature of this device is its capability to operate over the top with either or both of its inputs above V+. The inputs handle 44V, both differential and common mode, independent of supply voltage. The input stage incorporates phase reversal protection to prevent false outputs from occurring when the inputs are below the negative supply. Protective resistors are included in the input leads so that current does not become excessive when the inputs are forced below the negative supply. The LT1638/LT1639 can drive loads up to 25mA and still maintain rail-to-rail capability. The op amps are unity-gain stable and drive all capacitive loads up to 1000pF when optional output compensation is used.Applications Battery- or Solar-Powered Systems Portable Instrumentation Sensor Conditioning Supply Current Sensing Battery Monitoring Micropower Active Filters 4mA to 20mA Transmitters
