The LTC3880/LTC3880-1 are dual, PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous step-down switching regulator controllers with an I2C-based PMBus compliant serial interface. The controllers use a constant frequency, current mode architecture that is supported by LTpowerPlay? software development tool with graphical user interface (GUI).Switching frequency, output voltage, and device address can be programmed using external configuration resistors. Parameters can be set via the digital interface or stored in EEPROM. Voltage, current, internal/external temperature and fault status can be read back through the bus interface. The LTC3880 incorporates a 5V linear regulator while the LTC3880-1 uses an external 5V supply for minimum power loss. See comparison to LTC3887 below. The LTC1404 is a complete 600ksps, 12-bit A/D converter which draws only 75mW from a 5V or ?5V supplies. This easy-to-use device comes complete with a 160ns sample-and-hold and a precision reference. Unipolar and bipolar conversion modes add to the flexibility of the ADC. The LTC1404 has two power saving modes: Nap and Sleep. In Nap mode, it consumes only 7.5mW of power and can wake up and convert immediately. In the Sleep mode, it consumes 60?W of power typically. Upon power-up from Sleep mode, a reference ready (REFRDY) signal is available in the serial data word to indicate that the reference has settled and the chip is ready to convert.The LTC1404 converts 0V to 4.096V unipolar inputs from a single 5V supply and ?2.048V bipolar inputs from ?5V supplies. Maximum DC specs include ?1LSB INL, ?1LSB DNL and 45ppm/?C full-scale drift over temperature. The LTC3300-1 is a fault-protected controller IC for transformer-based bidirectional active balancing of multicell battery stacks. All associated gate drive circuitry, precision current sensing, fault detection circuitry and a robust serial interface with built-in watchdog timer are integrated.Each LTC3300-1 can balance up to 6 series-connected battery cells with an input common mode voltage up to 36V. Charge from any selected cell can be transferred at high efficiency to or from 12 or more adjacent cells. A unique level-shifting SPI-compatible serial interface enables multiple LTC3300-1 devices to be connected in series, without opto-couplers or isolators, allowing for balancing of every cell in a long string of series-connected batteries.When multiple LTC3300-1 devices are connected in series they can operate simultaneously, permitting all cells in the stack to be balanced concurrently and independently. Fault protection features include readback capability, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error detection, maximum on-time volt-second clamps, and overvoltage shutoffs. Features LTC3300-1 SPI-compatible serial interface in which each chip in the stack communicates bidirectionally to the chips of the same type above and below it via currents. There is no limit to the stack height. Large common mode voltage differences are handled by each LTC3300-1. The microprocessor in the BMS system communicates ONLY with the bottom chip in the stack and subsequently all of the chips use the same fixed internal address. LTC3300-2 SPI-compatible serial interface in which each chip has a unique 5-bit pin-strapped address. The microprocessor in the BMS system communicates directly with every chip in the stack with common mode voltage differences handled by digital isolators or opto-couplers. Because of the 5-bit address, the stack height is limited to 32 LTC3300-2 ICs or 192 cells (~800V). There are 5 pins which have a different assignment, all of them serial interface related. The LTC3774 is a dual PolyPhase? current mode synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that drives power blocks, DRMOS or external gate drivers and power MOSFETs. It offers an LTC-proprietary technique that enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the current sense signal, allowing the use of inductors with very low DC winding resistances as the current sense element for maximum efficiency and reduced jitter.The maximum current sense voltage is programmable from 10mV to 30mV. High speed, low offset remote sense differential amplifiers and a precise 0.6V reference provide accurate output voltages between 0.6V and 3.5V from a wide 4.5V to 38V input supply range. Soft recovery from output shorts or overcurrent minimizes output overshoot. Burst Mode? operation, continuous and pulse-skipping modes are supported. The constant operating frequency can be synchronized to an external clock or linearly programmed from 200kHz to 1.2MHz. Demonstration Circuit 2114A features the LT8603 with triple monolithic buck regulators and a boost controller. The demo circuit is designed for 8.0V, 5.0V, 3.3V, and 1.8V outputs from a nominal 12V input. The 4th channel is set as a boost converter and is powered from a wide input range with output VOUT4 regulated at 8V if 3V < VIN < 8.5V. It works as diode pass through if the input is above 8.5V. The two high voltage buck regulators are powered from the boost converter. VOUT1 is regulated at 5V with 1.5A maximum output load current, and VOUT2 is at 3.3V with 2.5A maximum output load current. Thanks to the pre-boost converter, they can ride through a cold crank in automotive applications while providing constant output voltages 5V and 3.3V. The low voltage buck is powered from the VOUT2 (3.3V), and the output VOUT3 is regulated at 1.8V with 1.8A maximum load current.

The LT4275 is a pin-for-pin compatible family of IEEE 802.3 and LTPoE++ powered device (PD) controllers.The LT4275A employs a proprietary LTPoE++ classification scheme, delivering 38.7W, 52.7W, 70W or 90W of power at the PD RJ45 connector. The LT4275A is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3. The LT4275B is an IEEE 802.3at compliant, Type 2 (PoE+) PD delivering up to 25.5W. The LT4275C is an IEEE 802.3af compliant, Type 1 (PoE) PD delivering up to 13W.The LT4275 internal charge pump provides an N-channel MOSFET solution, eliminating a larger and more costly P-channel MOSFET. A low RDS(ON) MOSFET also maximizes power delivery and efficiency, reduces power and heat dissipation, and eases thermal design. Startup inrush current is adjustable with an external capacitor. The LT4275 also includes a power good output, on-board signature resistor, undervoltage lockout, and thermal protection. The LT8301 is a micropower isolated flyback converter. By sampling the isolated output voltage directly from the primary-side flyback waveform, the part requires no third winding or opto-isolator for regulation. The output voltage is programmed with a single external resistor. Internal compensation and soft-start further reduce external component count. Boundary mode operation provides a small magnetic solution with excellent load regulation. Low ripple Burst Mode operation maintains high efficiency at light load while minimizing the output voltage ripple. A 1.2A, 65V DMOS power switch is integrated along with all high voltage circuitry and control logic into a 5-lead ThinSOT? package.The LT8301 operates from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 42V and can deliver up to 6W of isolated output power.
