LTC2449UHF Demo Board | 24-Bit High-Speed 8/16-Channel Delta Sigma ADC (Requires DC2026)
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 742B features the LTC2449, an 8-/16-channel, high speed, 24-bit ΔΣ ADC with ten selectable speed/resolution modes from 6.9Hz/200nVRMS to 3.5kHz/25μVRMS (4kHz with external oscillator). Key DC specifications include 5ppm INL, 5μV offset, 10ppm fullscale error and 20nV/°C offset drift. In the 6.9Hz/200nVRMS mode, input normal mode rejection of 50Hz and 60Hz noise is better than 87dB. The accuracy (offset, full-scale, linearity, drift) and power dissipation are independent of the speed selected. The LTC2449 performs auto-zeroing of the ADC by reversing the inputs through the multiplexer output/ADC input connections. This allows an external dual buffer amplifier to isolate the signal inputs from the sampling current of the ADC.

The LTC3441 is a high efficiency, fixed frequency, buck-boost DC/DC converter that operates efficiently from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides a continuous transfer function through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single lithium ion or multicell applications where the output voltage is within the battery voltage range. The device includes two 0.10? N-channel MOSFET switches and two 0.11? P-channel switches. External Schottky diodes are optional, and can be used for a moderate efficiency improvement. The operating frequency is internally set to 1MHz and can be synchronized up to 1.7MHz. Quiescent current is only 25?A in Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications. Burst Mode operation is user controlled and can be enabled by driving the MODE/SYNC pin high. If the MODE/SYNC pin is driven low or with a clock, then fixed frequency switching is enabled.Other features include a 1?A shutdown, soft-start control, thermal shutdown and current limit. The LTC3441 is available in a thermally enhanced 12-lead (4mm ? 3mm) DFN package.Applications Handheld Computers Handheld Instruments MP3 Players Digital Cameras

The LTC2950 is a micropower, wide input voltage range, pushbutton ON/OFF controller. The part contains a pushbutton input with independently programmable ON and OFF debounce times that control the toggling of an open drain enable output. The part also contains a simple microprocessor interface to allow for proper system housekeeping prior to power down. Under system fault conditions, an internal KILL timer ensures proper power down. The LTC2950 operates over a wide 2.7V to 26.4V input voltage range to accommodate a wide variety of input power supplies. Very low quiescent current (6?A typical) makes the LTC2950 ideally suited for battery powered applications. Two versions of the part are available to accommodate either positive or negative enable polarities. The parts are available in either 8-lead 3mm ? 2mm DFN or ThinSOT packages.Applications Portable Instrumentation Meters Blade Servers Portable Customer Service PDA Desktop and Notebook Computers

The LTC2609/LTC2619/LTC2629 are quad 16-, 14- and 12- bit, 2.7V to 5.5V rail-to-rail voltage output DACs in a 16?lead SSOP package. They have built-in high performance output buffers and are guaranteed monotonic. These parts establish new board-density benchmarks for 16- and 14-bit DACs and advance performance standards for output drive and load regulation in single-supply, voltage- output DACs.The parts use a 2-wire, I2C compatible serial interface. The LTC2609/LTC2619/LTC2629 operate in both the standard mode (clock rate of 100kHz) and the fast mode (clock rate of 400kHz).The LTC2609/LTC2619/LTC2629 incorporate a power-on reset circuit. During power-up, the voltage outputs rise less than 10mV above zero-scale; after power-up, they stay at zero-scale until a valid write and update take place. The power-on reset circuit resets the LTC2609-1/LTC2619?1/ LTC2629-1 to mid-scale. The voltage outputs stay at midscale until a valid write and update take place.Applications Mobile Communications Process Control and Industrial Automation Automatic Test Equipment and Instrumentation

The LTC2208-14 is a 130Msps, sampling 14-bit A/D converter designed for digitizing high frequency, wide dynamic range signals with input frequencies up to 700MHz. The input range of the ADC can be optimized with the PGA front end.The LTC2208-14 is perfect for demanding communications applications, with AC performance that includes 77.1dBFS Noise Floor and 98dB spurious free dynamic range (SFDR). Ultralow jitter of 70fsRMS allows undersampling of high input frequencies with excellent noise performance. Maximum DC specs include ?1.5LSB INL, ?0.5LSB DNL (no missing codes). The digital output can be either differential LVDS or single-ended CMOS. There are two format options for the CMOS outputs: a single bus running at the full data rate or demultiplexed buses running at half data rate. A separate output power supply allows the CMOS output swing to range from 0.5V to 3.6V.The ENC+ and ENC? inputs may be driven differentially or single-ended with a sine wave, PECL, LVDS, TTL or CMOS inputs. An optional clock duty cycle stabilizer allows high performance at full speed with a wide range of clock duty cycles.
