The ADXRS290 is a high performance pitch and roll (dual-axis in-plane) angular rate sensor (gyroscope) designed for use in stabilization applications.The ADXRS290 provides an output full-scale range of ?100?/s with a sensitivity of 200 LSB/?/s. Its resonating disk sensor structure enables angular rate measurement about the axes normal to the sides of the package around an in-plane axis. Angular rate data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through a SPI digital interface. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design rejects the influence of linear acceleration, enabling the ADXRS453 to offer high accuracy rate sensing in harsh envi-ronments where shock and vibration are present.The ADXRS453 uses an internal, continuous self-test architec-ture. The ADXRS623 is a complete angular rate sensor (gyroscope)that uses the Analog Devices, Inc. surface-micromachiningprocess to create a functionally complete and low cost angularrate sensor integrated with all required electronics on one chip.The manufacturing technique for this device is the same highvolume BiMOS process used for high reliability automotiveairbag accelerometers.The ADXRS623 is an automotive grade gyroscope. Automotive grade gyroscopes have more extensive guaranteed min/max specifications due to automotive testing.The output signal, RATEOUT (1B, 2A), is a voltageproportional to the angular rate about the axis that is normal tothe top surface of the package. The output is ratiometric withrespect to a provided reference supply. A single externalresistor between SUMJ and RATEOUT can be used to lowerthe scale factor. An external capacitor sets the bandwidth. Otherexternal capacitors are required for operation.A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques.Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite thesensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signalconditioning circuits. Demonstration circuit 760 is a dual, output, 1.1MHz Boost/Inverter in a 3mm x 3mm DFN featuring the LT3472EDD. The demo circuit demonstrates small size and low component count in a Boost Circuit and an Inverting Circuit. The Boost Converter is designed to convert a 2.7V–4.2V input to 15V output at 25mA– 45mA load. The Inverting Circuit generates a –8V output at 35mA–65mA from the same input. Since the maximum VIN of the LT3472EDD is 16V, this demo circuit will work well at higher inputs. The only limitation is the 10V rating of the input capacitor.

Demonstration circuit 761 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204 (Burst Mode operation) in the 2 × 2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC761A-A and DC761A-B for the LTC3204-5 (5V output) and LTC3204-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC761A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V. The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.

Demonstration circuit 1516A is a 1.5V/15A synchronous buck converter operating with a switching frequency of 300kHz over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V. The demo board comes in two versions. The -A version uses inductor DCR current sensing with an iron powder inductor for highest efficiency. The -B version uses a 2.5mΩ/1% sense resistor for accurate current sensing with a low DCR ferrite inductor. The fixed on-time valley current mode control of the LTC3833 allows for a fast load step response.
