Demonstration circuit 2234A is a synchronous sepic converter featuring the LT8711 multitopology switching controller. The LT8711 is a current mode PWM DC/DC controller with a dual input LDO to optimize gate driver efficiency. Ultralow 15μA quiescent current in low noise Burst Mode® operation achieves high efficiency at very light loads and helps extend the run-time in battery powered applications when in standby mode. The LT8711 switching frequency can be programmed either via oscillator resistor or external clock over a 100kHz to 750kHz range.

LT8603 Demo Board | 42V, Low IQ, Quad Output Triple Monolithic Buck Converter with Boost Channel as SEPIC

Demonstration circuit 2469A features the LT8603 with triple monolithic buck regulators and the boost channel as SEPIC. The demo circuit is designed for 8V, 5V, 3.3V, and 1.8V outputs from a nominal 12V input. The 4th channel is set as a SEPIC converter and its output is regulated at 8V over a wide input range. The two high voltage buck regulators are powered from VOUT4. VOUT1 is regulated at 5V with 1.5A maximum output load current, and VOUT2 is at 3.3V with 2.5A maximum output load current. The low voltage buck is powered from VOUT2 (3.3V), and the output VOUT3 is regulated at 1.8V with 1.8A maximum load current. Thanks to the SEPIC converter, all four outputs can ride through a cold crank in automotive applications while providing regulated output voltages.

LT8362 Signal Chain Evaluation Board | SEPIC Converter w/ 2A, 60V Switch

Demonstration circuit SCP-LT8362-S-EVALZ features the LT8362 in a SEPIC configuration. It operates with a switching frequency of 2MHz and has an output voltage of 12V. Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely: SCP-INPUT-EVALZ SCP-OUTPUT-EVALZ SCP-FILTER-EVALZ SCP-THRUBRD-EVALZ SCP-1X2BKOUT-EVALZ SCP-1X5BKOUT-EVALZ SCP-5X1-EVALZ   To properly evaluate SCP series demo boards, you will need the SCP Configurator companion software. AD2428 MINI Break-Out Board (32-Pin & 100-Pin Connectors)

ADZS-AD2428MINI is a low-cost, mini break-out board which can interface with EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT (via a 100-pin connector) or any custom board (via a 32 pin 0.1" header). It supports main and subordinate node capability as well as bus and local power configurations. An Automotive Audio Bus (A2B®) system consists of a single main node and at least one subordinate node, where the transceiver at the host controller is the main node. The main transceiver generates clock, synchronization, and framing for all subordinate nodes and is programmable over a control bus (I2C) for configuration and readback. An extension of this control bus is embedded in the A2B data stream, which enables the host to directly access subordinate transceiver registers and any I2C-connected peripherals on subordinate nodes. Transceivers can connect directly to PDM microphones and to numerous peripherals via I2C and a multichannel I2S/TDM interface. Finally, the transceiver also supports an A2B bus powering feature, where the main node supplies voltage and current to the subordinate nodes over the same daisy-chained, twisted pair wire cable as used for the communication link, thus eliminating the need for a power supply on bus-powered subordinate nodes. Due to the numerous configurations that are possible for a given A2B system, there are several evaluation platforms that can be used in combination to verify system operation, as summarized in the table below. LTC1871EMS-1 Demo Board | SEPIC Controller; 5V to 20 VIN, 12 VOUT @ 3A

Demonstration circuit 1225 is high efficiency nonisolated SEPIC (Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter) converter featuring the LTC1871-1 switching controller. The DC1225 converts 5V to 20V input to 12V output and provides over 3A of output current. The converter operates at 300kHz with efficiency over 94%. With proper amount of airflow, the DC1225 converter can generate over 3A of output current. The DC1225 can be easily modified to generate output voltages in the range from 1.23V to 48V. Also, the DC1225 can be modified for other input voltages like 5V-36V, 9V-36V, 36V-72V, and so on. The wider input voltage range will decrease the converter efficiency.

LT8361 Demo Board | SEPIC, VIN = 4.5V to 48, VOUT= 24V @ up to 600mA

Demonstration circuit 2599A features the LT8361 in a SEPIC configuration. It operates with a switching frequency of 400kHz and is designed to convert a 4.5V to 48V source to 24V, with up to 600mA output current (depending on input voltage). The LT8361 can operate with inputs as high as 60V. However, in this demo circuit, the input is limited by the voltage rating of the input capacitors. The demo board contains a selectable jumper, JP1, to aid in the selection of the desired Sync pin mode of operation. The default setting is Burst Mode® operation. This layout is optimized for good EMI performance and small solution size. Input and output filters and an optimized power switching loop, comprised of C20 and C21 are necessary to pass CISPR 25 Class 5 emissions, and are added by default. These components can be excluded in applications not requiring noise immunity. The data sheet gives a complete description of the device, operation and application information. The data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual.

LT8334 | Low IQ Boost/SEPIC/Inverting Converter with 5A, 40V Switch

Evaluation circuit EVAL-LT8334-AZ features the LT8334 in a SEPIC configuration. It operates with a switching frequency of 2MHz and is designed to convert a 3V to 26V source to 12V output. The converter can output up to 2.2A depending on the input voltage (see Figure 3 in the user guide for the maximum output current vs VIN curve). This evaluation circuit features Spread Spectrum Frequency Modulation (SSFM), EMI filters, and space for an option EMI shield to provide optimum EMI performance. This PCB layout is optimized for good EMI performance and small solution size. The evaluation board contains a selectable jumper, JP1, to aid in the selection of the desired SYNC pin mode of operation. At light load, either PULSE SKIP or low-ripple BURST mode can be selected to improve the efficiency. The LT8334 boost/SEPIC/inverting converter IC operates over an input range of 2.8V to 40V, suitable for automotive, telecom, and industrial applications. The converter provides adjustable and synchronizable operation from 300kHz to 2MHz with SSFM option. The LT8334 packs other popular features such as soft-start, bias pin, input undervoltage lockout. The IC can exhibit a low quiescent current down to 9μA in BURST mode and 1μA in shutdown, which makes it ideal for battery-operated systems. The LT8334 is assembled in a thermally enhanced 12-lead 4mm × 3mm DFN package. The data sheet gives a complete description of the device, operation, and applications information.
