The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent. The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The DONE pin indicates when the part has completed charging. The LT3468 series of parts are available in tiny low profile (1mm) SOT-23 packages.Applications Digital / Film Camera Flash PDA / Cell Phone Flash Emergency Strobe

The LTC5530 is an RF power detector for RF applications operating in the 300MHz to 7GHz range. A temperature compensated Schottky diode peak detector and buffer amplifier are combined in a small ThinSOT? package. The supply voltage range is optimized for operation from a single lithium-ion cell or 3xNiMH.The RF input voltage is peak detected using an on-chip Schottky diode. The detected voltage is buffered and supplied to the VOUT pin. The output buffer gain is set via external resistors. A power saving shutdown mode reduces current to less than 2?A.The LTC5530 operates with input power levels from -32dBm to 10dBm.*Higher frequency operation is achievable with reduced performance. LTC3415EUHF Demo Board | 2.375 ≤ VIN ≤ 5.5V, VOUT = 0.6V to 5V @ 7A

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration Circuit 725 is a 7A high efficiency, phase-lockable constant frequency buck converter, incorporating the LTC3415 polyphase monolithic synchronous regulator. The DC725 has an input voltage range of 2.375V to 5.5V and an output voltage range from 0.6V to 5V. The output voltage can be set to 1.2V, 1.5V or 1.8V using the appropriate jumper connection, or it can be set to an adjustable value down to 0.6V, the reference voltage of the LTC3415. The DC725 can deliver high power for a monolithic part (up to 7A of output current) due to the high current power switches (28 mΩ of onstate resistance) of the LTC3415. The LTC3415 can also do polyphase operation, which allows multiple DC725s to be used in parallel for higher current power supplies. Since the parallel LTC3415s can operate out-of-phase, the amount of input and output capacitance required will be minimal.

The LTC4302-1/LTC4302-2 addressable I2C bus and SMBus compatible bus buffers allow a peripheral board to be inserted and removed from a live backplane without corruption of the bus. The LTC4302-1/LTC4302-2 maintain electrical isolation between the backplane and peripheral board until their VCC supply is valid and a master device on the backplane side addresses the LTC4302-1/LTC4302-2 and commands them to connect. The LTC4302-1/LTC4302-2?s ADDRESS pin provides 32 possible addresses set by an external resistive divider between VCC and GND. The LTC4302-1/LTC4302-2 work with supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V. The SDA and SCL inputs and outputs do not load the bus lines when VCC is low.Rise time accelerator circuitry allows for heavier capacitive bus loading while still meeting system timing requirements. During insertion, the SDA and SCL lines are precharged to 1V to minimize bus disturbances. Two general purpose input/output pins (GPIOs) on the LTC4302-1 can be configured as inputs, open-drain outputs or push-pull outputs. The LTC4302-2 option replaces one GPIO pin with a second supply voltage pin VCC2, providing level shifting between systems with different supply voltages. The LTC4302-1/LTC4302-2 are available in a 10-pin MSOP package.Applications Live Board Insertion 5V/3.3V Level Translator Servers Capacitance Buffer/Bus Extender Nested Addressing

LTC3204EDC-5 Demo Board | Low Noise Regulated Charge Pump in 2x2 DFN, Burst Mode, VIN = 2.7V–5.5V, VOUT = 5V/(65–150mA)

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 761 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204 (Burst Mode operation) in the 2X2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC761A-A and DC761A-B for the LTC3204-5 (5V output) and LTC3204-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC761A-A produces a regulated 5V output from a 2.7V to 5.5V input. The guaranteed output load current is 150mA for VIN between 3.1V and 5.5V, and 65mA for VIN less than 3.1V. The DC761A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V. The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.
