Demonstration circuit 2807A features the LTC6560 single channel transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with output multiplexing. The DC2807A accepts voltage pulses and converts them to current for the TIA. The LTC6560, which features 74kΩ transimpedance gain and 30µA linear input current range, is ideal for LIDAR receivers using avalanche photodiodes (APD). The LTC6560 operates from 5V single supply and consumes only 90mW. Utilizing the LTC6560’s output MUX, multiple LTC6560 devices can combine into a single output. The LTC6560’s fast overload recovery makes it well suited for LIDAR receivers. The LTC6560’s single-ended output can swing 2VP-P into a 100Ω load. The LTC6560 is packaged in a compact 3mm × 3mm 16-pin leadless QFN package with an exposed pad for thermal management and low inductance.

The LTC3773 is a high performance, 3-phase, triple output synchronous step-down switching regulator controller with output voltage power up/down tracking capability. The controller allows for sequential, coincident or ratiometric tracking.This 3-phase controller drives its output stages with 120? phase separation at frequencies of up to 700kHz per phase minimizing the RMS input current. Light load efficiency can be maximized by using selectable Burst Mode operation. The LT1371 is a monolithic high frequency current mode switching regulator. It can be operated in all standard switching configurations including boost, buck, flyback, forward, inverting and ?Cuk?. A 3A high efficiency switch is included on the die, along with all oscillator, control and protection circuitry.The LT1371 typically consumes only 4mA quiescent current and has higher efficiency than previous parts. High frequency switching allows for very small inductors to be used.New design techniques increase flexibility and maintain ease of use. Switching is easily synchronized to an external logic level source. A logic low on the Shutdown pin reduces supply current to 12?A. Unique error amplifier circuitry can regulate positive or negative output voltage while maintaining simple frequency compensation techniques. Nonlinear error amplifier transconductance reduces output overshoot on start-up or overload recovery. Demonstration circuit 2638A-D is a high efficiency, high density, μModule regulator with 4.5V to 16V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.5V to 3.3V, and it can supply 250A maximum load current. The demo board has five LTM4678 μModule® regulators, and the LTM4678 is a dual 25A or single 50A step-down regulator with PMBus power system management. DC2638A-D powers up to default settings and produce power based on configuration resistors without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay® onto your PC and use ADI’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board.
