DC250A-A: Demo Board for the LTC1503 High Efficiency Inductorless Step-Down DC/DC Converter.

The DC2518A is a demonstration system for the LTC2975 Power System Manager that interfaces to various regulators. The board contains all the circuitry needed to use the LTC2975 in a power system and control four power supplies. The four power supplies include linear and switching regulators for the purpose of demonstrating a variety of methods to sense voltage and current. The demo board provides a sophisticated, digitally programmable 4-channel power supply system.

The LTC3422 is a high efficiency, current mode, fixed frequency, step-up DC/DC converter with true output disconnect and inrush current limiting. The part is guaranteed to start up from an input voltage of 1V. The device includes a 0.20? N-channel MOSFET switch and a 0.24? P-channel MOSFET synchronous rectifier. The output voltage, switching frequency, soft-start time, Burst Mode threshold and loop compensation are all simply programmed using tiny external passive components.Quiescent current is only 25?A during Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications. The oscillator frequency can be programmed up to 3MHz and can be synchronized to an external clock applied to the SYNC pin.Other features include 1?A shutdown, short-circuit protection, anti-ringing control, thermal shutdown and current limit. Demonstration circuit 862 is a micropower regulated charge pump DC/DC converter featuring the 60mA output LTC3221 in a 2mm × 2mm DFN package. It comes in three assembly versions, DC862A-A, DC862A-B and DC862A-C, featuring the LTC3221EDC-3.3 (fixed 3.3V output), the LTC3221EDC-5 (fixed 5V output) , and LTC3221EDC (adjustable output set to 3V), respectively. The demo board input voltage range depends on the IC used; for the adjustable output DC862A-C, the input voltage range is 1.8V to 3.8V. The LTC3221's low 8µA no-load quiescent current is even lower than the self-discharging current of many batteries. By employing a constant current to charge the output, the output ripple is low even at high input and light load, and is fairly constant over the full input voltage range.

DC872A: Demo Board for the LTC4213 No RSENSE Electronic Circuit Breaker.

Demonstration circuit 886 is an ultralow input voltage and dropout voltage supply using the 300mA output current LTC3035 linear regulator, which comes in a very small 8-pin 3mm × 2mm DFN package. The DC886 has an input voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V and jumper selectable output voltages of 2.5V/3.3V/5V or a user-determined value.  Due to the 0.4V reference of the LTC3035, the DC886 is capable of supplying power to very low voltage applications, such as a (relatively) high current voltage references. The DC886 comes assembled with small 1uF ceramic capacitors to demonstrate the LTC3035's ability to  maintain stability with ceramic output capacitors.

Demonstration circuit 894A-A is a 36V-72VIN, synchronous flyback converter featuring the LT3825. This circuit was designed specifically to attain a high current, low ripple, synchronously rectified flyback to efficiently power 3.3V loads at up to 12A from a typical telecom input voltage range. This circuit features synchronous rectifier drive outputs, output voltage regulation without the need of an optocoupler, a self-starting architecture and input undervoltage lockout.

Demonstration circuit 897 is a monolithic step-down DC/DC swithcing regulator featureing the LT3493. The demo board is designed to provide 3.3V @ 1.2A  from a 4.5V to 36V input. Other features of the LT3493 include a fixed 750kHz switching frequency and Internal compenation
