The LTC3787 is a high performance PolyPhase? single output synchronous boost converter controller that drives two N-channel power MOSFET stages out-of-phase. Multiphase operation reduces input and output capacitor requirements and allows the use of smaller inductors than the single-phase equivalent. Synchronous rectification increases efficiency, reduces power losses and eases thermal requirements, enabling high power boost applications. A 4.5V to 38V input supply range encompasses a wide range of system architectures and battery chemistries. When biased from the output of the boost converter or another auxiliary supply, the LTC3787 can operate from an input supply as low as 2.5V after start-up. The operating frequency can be set for a 50kHz to 900kHz range or synchronized to an external clock using the internal PLL. PolyPhase operation allows the LTC3787 to be configured for 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- and 12-phase operation. The SS pin ramps the output voltage during start-up. The PLLIN/MODE pin selects Burst Mode? operation, pulse- skipping mode or forced continuous mode at light loads.Applications Industrial Automotive Medical Military?

The LTC3622 is a dual 1A output, high efficiency synchronous monolithic step-down regulator capable of operating from input supplies up to 17V. The switching frequency is fixed to 1MHz or 2.25MHz with a ?50% synchronization range to an external clock. The regulator features ultralow quiescent current and high efficiency over a wide output voltage range.The step-down regulators operate from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 17V and provide an adjustable output from 0.6V to VIN while delivering up to 1A of output current. A user-selectable mode input is provided to allow the user to trade off ripple noise for light load efficiency. Burst Mode? operation provides the highest efficiency at light loads, while pulse-skipping mode provides the lowest ripple noise. The switching regulators can be synchronized to an external clock. The LTC3862-2 is a two-phase constant frequency, current mode boost and SEPIC controller that drives N-channel power MOSFETs. Two-phase operation reduces system filtering capacitance and inductance requirements.The operating frequency can be set with an external resistor over a 75kHz to 500kHz range and can be synchronized to an external clock using the internal PLL. Multiphase operation is possible using the SYNC input, the CLKOUT output and the PHASEMODE control pin allowing 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- or 12-phase operation.Other features include an internal 10V LDO with undervoltage lockout protection for the gate drivers, a precision RUN pin threshold with programmable hysteresis, soft-start and programmable leading edge blanking and maximum duty cycle. Demonstration circuit 2007A-B features a PolyPhase® design using the LTM4630EV, the high efficiency, high density, dual 18A, switch mode step-down power μModule® regulator. The input voltage is from 4.5V to 15V. The output voltage is jumper selectable from 0.9V to 1.8V. The DC2007A-B can deliver a nominal 105A output current. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The LTM4630 on DC2007A-B always operates in continuous conduction mode. The switching frequency can be programmed through a resistor or can be synchronized to an external clock signal.
