The AD9172 is a high performance, dual, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that supports DAC sample rates to 12.6 GSPS. The device features an 8-lane, 15 Gbps JESD204B data input port, a high performance, on-chip DAC clock multiplier, and digital signal processing capabilities targeted at single-band and multiband direct to radio frequency (RF) wireless applications.The AD9172 features three complex data input channels per RF DAC that are bypassable. Each data input channel includes a configurable gain stage, an interpolation filter, and a channel numerically controlled oscillator (NCO) for flexible, multiband frequency planning. The device supports up to a 1.5 GSPS complex data rate per input channel and is capable of aggregating multiple complex input data streams up to a maximum complex data rate of 1.5 GSPS. The ADF7020-1 is a low power, highly integrated FSK/ GFSK/ ASK/ OOK/ GOOK transceiver designed for operation in thelow UHF and VHF bands. The ADF7020-1 uses an externalVCO inductor that allows users to set the operating frequencyanywhere between 135 MHz and 650 MHz. Using the divide-by-2circuit allows users to operate the device as low as 80 MHz.The typical range of the VCO is about 10% of the operatingfrequency. A complete transceiver can be built using a smallnumber of external discrete components, making the ADF7020-1 very suitable for price-sensitive and area-sensitiveapplications.The transmit section contains a VCO and low noisefractional-N PLL with output resolution of <1 ppm. Thisfrequency agile PLL allows the ADF7020-1 to be used infrequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) systems. The VCOoperates at twice the fundamental frequency to reduce spuriousemissions and frequency pulling problems.The transmitter output power is programmable in 63 steps from?20 dBm to +13 dBm. Demonstration Circuit 2164A-A features a PolyPhase® design using two paralleled LTM4630EY-1's (A-grade), the high efficiency, high density, dual 18A, switch mode step-down power module regulator. The input voltage is from 4.5V to 15V. The output voltage is jumper selectable and can be set to 0.9V, 1.0V, 1.2V, 1.5V or 1.8V. DC2164A-A can deliver nominal 70A output current. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The LTM4630-1A on DC2164A-A always operate in continuous conduction mode. The switching frequency can be programmed through a resistor or can be synchronized to an external clock signal. The board allows the user to program how its output voltage ramps up and down through the TRACK pin.

The ADF4360-3 is a fully integrated integer-N synthesizer andvoltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The ADF4360-3 is designedfor a center frequency of 1750 MHz. In addition, there is adivide-by-2 option available, whereby the user gets an RF output of between 800 MHz and 975 MHz. Control of all the on-chip registers is through a simple 3-wire interface. The device operates with a power supply ranging from 3.0 V to 3.6 V and can be powered down when not in use.?
