Demonstration circuit 1320 is a high power density step-down DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3608EWKG (DC1320A-A) or the LTC3609EWKG (DC1320A-B) high current, high input voltage monolithic DC/DC step-down converter. The input voltage of the DC1320A-B is from 5V to 28V and it provides a jumper-selectable output voltage of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V @ 6A.

The LTC1474/LTC1475 series are high efficiency step-down converters with internal P-channel MOSFET power switches that draw only 10?A typical DC supply current at no load while maintaining output voltage. The LTC1474 uses logic-controlled shutdown while the LTC1475 features pushbutton on/off. The low supply current coupled with Burst Mode? operation enables the LTC1474/LTC1475 to maintain high efficiency over a wide range of loads. These features, along with their capability of 100% duty cycle for low dropout and wide input supply range, make the LTC1474/LTC1475 ideal for moderate current (up to 300mA) battery-powered applications. The peak switch current is user-programmable with an optional sense resistor (defaults to 325mA minimum if not used) providing a simple means for optimizing the design for lower current applications. The peak current control also provides short-circuit protection and excellent startup behavior. A low-battery detector that remains functional in shutdown is provided . Demo Circuit 1467 is a high efficiency, high frequency step-down converter, incorporating the LTC3614 monolithic synchronous regulator. The DC1467A has an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, and is capable of delivering up to 4A of output current. The output voltage of the DC1467A can be set as low as 0.6V, the reference voltage of the LTC3614. The operating frequency range of the DC1467A is either set to a fixed 2.25 MHz by connecting the frequency pin to SVin, set by an external resistor, or synchronized to an external clock, with a range up to 4 MHz. At low load currents, the DC1467A can operate in either noise sensitive applications, due to the capability of the LTC3614 to operate in pulse-skipping mode, or in high efficiency applications, because the LTC3614 also has Burst-Mode capability. The Burst Mode clamp can be set externally.

Demonstration circuit 1516A is a 1.5V/15A synchronous buck converter operating with a switching frequency of 300kHz over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V. The demo board comes in two versions. The -A version uses inductor DCR current sensing with an iron powder inductor for highest efficiency. The -B version uses a 2.5mΩ/1% sense resistor for accurate current sensing with a low DCR ferrite inductor. The fixed on-time valley current mode control of the LTC3833 allows for a fast load step response.

Demonstration circuit 1787A is a wide input voltage range SEPIC converter featuring the LT3759 controller. It converts a 2.8V~36V input to a 12V output, with 1A load current capability for VIN ≥ 4V. The converter operates at a 300 kHz nominal switching frequency, with 91% peak efficiency. The DC1787A can be easily modified to generate other output voltages, and can also be optimized for efficiency and size with narrower input voltage ranges.

Demonstration circuit EVAL-LT8692S-AZ is an ultracompact 4 rail power supply featuring the LT8692S, a 42V quad monolithic synchronous step-down Silent Switcher®. The demo circuit is designed for 5V, 3.3V, 1.8V, and 1.2V outputs from a nominal 12V input. The 3.3V, 1.8V and 1.2V converters are powered from the high voltage buck regulator with 5V output, which is powered from a wide range of 6.2V to 42V input. The current capability is 2A for the channel 1, and 1A for the low voltage channels. Internal soft-start, individual current limit, independent enable for each channel simplify the complex design of quad-output power converters. All regulators can be synchronized to a common external clock input or internal oscillator of 2MHz. The table in the demo manual summarizes the performance of the demo board at room temperature. The circuit can be easily modified for different applications. The LT8692S data sheet gives a complete description of the part, operation and application information. The ADuCM4050WL EZ-KIT® and ADuCM4050LF EZ-KIT®, Analog Devices, Inc. are an evaluation system for the ADuCM4050 MCU, for the WLCSP and LFCSP packages respectively.
