Evaluating the ADXL371 Micropower, 3-Axis, ±200 g Digital Output, MEMS Accelerometer

The EVAL-ADXL371Z is a simple evaluation board that allows quick evaluation of the performance of the ADXL371 ultralow power, 3-axis, digital output MEMS accelerometer. The EVAL-ADXL371Z is ideal for evaluation of the ADXL371 in an existing system because the stiffness and the small size of the evaluation board minimize the effect of the board on both the system and acceleration measurements. Demonstration circuit 1320 is a high power density step-down DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3608EWKG (DC1320A-A) or the LTC3609EWKG (DC1320A-B) high current, high input voltage monolithic DC/DC step-down converter. The input voltage of the DC1320A-A is from 5V to 20V and it provides a jumper-selectable output voltage of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V @ 8A.

The LT3758A operates over an input range of 5.5V to 100V, and features a novel FBX pin architecture, which allows it to be connected directly to a resistor divider from either a positive output voltage or a negative output voltage.

Demonstration circuit 1750A is a 42V, 2.5A micropower synchronous step-down regulator with current sense featuring the LT8611. The LT8611 is a compact, high efficiency, high speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator that consumes only 2.5μA of quiescent current when the output is regulated at 3.3V. The demo board has an input voltage range from 3.8V to 42V and provides an output of 3.3V @ 2.5A. The current limit can be moved to the input side for application where input supply current is limited, such as energy harvesting application. ICTRL and IMON on the board set and monitor the regulated current respectively.
