Demonstration circuit 1668B-A is a PolyPhase® power supply featuring two LTM4627 high efficiency synchronous buck μModule® regulators. The DC1668B-A input voltage range is between 4.5V to 20V with a jumper programmable output voltage from 0.6V to 3.3V. The demo circuit can deliver up to 30A of load with excellent current-sharing. Current derating may be necessary under certain operating conditions.

Demonstration Circuit 2164A-B features a PolyPhase design using three LTM4630EY-1's (A-grade), the high efficiency, high density, dual 18A, switch mode step-down power module regulator. The input voltage is from 4.5V to 15V. The output voltage is jumper selectable and can be set to 0.9V, 1.0V, 1.2V, 1.5V or 1.8V. DC2164A-B can deliver nominal 105A output current. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The LTM4630-1A on DC2164A-B always operate in continuous conduction mode. The switching frequency can be programmed through a resistor or can be synchronized to an external clock signal. The board allows the user to program how its output voltage ramps up and down through the TRACK pin.

Demonstration circuit 1740A is a PolyPhase® synchronous buck converter featuring the LTC3880EUJ, a dual-phase current mode controller with PMBus interface and digital power system management functions. The DC1740A-A is a two chip 4-phase single-output configuration. The default output setting is VOUT0 = 1.2V/80A.
The DC1740A powers up to default settings and produces power based on configuration resistors or with non-volatile memory (NVM) settings without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter aspects of the LTC3880. To fully explore the extensive digital power management features of the parts, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay™ onto your PC and use LTC’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus Dongle DC1613A to connect to the board.

Demonstration Circuit 1396A is an I2C-controlled, high-efficiency USB/5V Powered 1A Li-Ion battery charger/manager with the control hooks for an external HV battery-tracking step-down controller (LT3480 is recommended). The Input current is automatically limited for USB compatibility. The DC1396's input voltage ranges from 4.35V to 5.5V, and the device provides overvoltage protection from up to 30V. The device features a CC/CV linear charger with a 4.2V charge voltage, C/x detection and timer termination.
