The ADD5211 is a four-string, white LED driver for backlight applications based on high efficiency, current mode, step-up converter technology. The boost controller drives an external MOSFET switch for step-up regulation from an input voltage of 4.5 V to 40 V and a pin adjustable operating frequency from 200 kHz to 1.2 MHz. An adjustable UVLO function is implemented to reduce input current during power-off.The ADD5211 provides four regulated current sinks for uniform brightness intensity. Each current sink can be driven from 40 mA to 200 mA; the LED driving current is pin adjustable using an external resistor. With an input PWM interface, the ADD5211 drives up to four parallel strings of multiple series connected LEDs.Additional features include LED short protection, LED open protection, boost output short protection, overvoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown for both the IC and the LED array. The ADL5920 is an ultrawideband, bidirectional detector that simultaneously measures forward and reverse rms power levels in a signal path, along with the return loss.The forward and reverse power traveling through the integrated bidirectional bridge is measured using two 50 dB linear in dB rms detectors. The detector output voltages, available at the VRMSF and VRMSR pins, are proportional to the forward and reflected power in dBm. A third, differential, output produces a voltage proportional to the return loss (reflection coefficient) in dB, closely related to the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). The common-mode level of this output is externally adjustable through the VOCM pin.The primary transmission line of the bidirectional bridge, from RFIN to RFOUT (or vice versa) is dc-coupled and allows small amounts of dc bias current through the bridge. When dc-coupled to source and load, the positive and negative supply pins of the ADL5920 must be connected to +5 V and ?2.5 V, respectively (relative to the dc voltage at RFIN and RFOUT). The ADM7172 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 2 A of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed-signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 ?F ceramic output capacitor. The HMC601LP4(E) Logarithmic Detector/Controller converts RF signals at its input, to a proportional DC voltage at its output. The HMC601LP4(E) employ a successive compression topology which delivers extremely high dynamic range and conversion accuracy over a wide input frequency range. As the input power is increased, successive amplifiers move into saturation one by one creating an accurate approximation of the logarithm function.The output of a series of square law detectors is summed, converted into voltage domain and buffered to drive the LOGOUT output.
