The ADF7030-1 is a fully integrated, radio transceiver achieving high performance at very low power. The ADF7030-1 is ideally suited for applications that require long range, network robustness, and long battery life. It is suitable for applications that operate in the ISM, SRD, and licensed frequency bands at 169.4 MHz to 169.6 MHz, 426 MHz to 470 MHz, and 863 MHz to 960 MHz. It provides extensive support for standards-based protocols like IEEE802.15.4g while also providing flexibility to support a wide range of proprietary protocols.The highly configurable low intermediate frequency (IF) receiver supports a large range of receiver channel bandwidths from 2.6 kHz to 406 kHz. This range of receiver channel bandwidths allows the ADF7030-1 to support ultranarrow-band, narrow-band, and wideband channel spacing.The ADF7030-1 features two independent PAs supporting output power ranges of ?20 dBm to +13 dBm and ?20 dBm to +17 dBm. The PAs support ultrafine adjustment of the power with a step resolution of 0.1 dB. The PA output power is exceptionally robust over temperature and voltage. The PAs have an automatic power ramp control to limit spectral splatter to meet regulatory standards.The ADF7030-1 features an on-chip ARM??Cortex?-M0 processor that performs radio control, radio calibration, and packet management. The HMC1030LP5E is a dual-channel RMS power detector designed for high accuracy RF power signal measurement and control applications over the 0.1 to 3.9 GHz frequency range. The device can be used with input signals having RMS values from -60 dBm to +10 dBm referenced to 50 Ohm and large crest factors with no accuracy degradation. Each RMS detection channel is fully specified for operation up to 3.9 GHz, over a wide dynamic range of 70 dB. The HMC1030LP5E operates from a single +5V supply and provides two linear-in-dB detection outputs at the RMSA and RMSB pins with scaled slopes of 37 mV/dB. The RMSA and RMSB channel outputs provide RMS detection performance in terms of dynamic range, logarithmic linearity and temperature stability similar to Hittite?s HMC1021LP4E RMS Detector. The RMSA and RMSB outputs provide a read of average input signal power, or true-RMS power. Frequency detection up to 3.9 GHz is possible, with excellent channel matching of less than 1 dB, over a wide range of input frequencies and with low temperature drift. LTM4660 | High Density Hybrid Step-Down Synchronous Converter

Demonstration circuit 2879A is a high efficiency, high power density hybrid converter. It can deliver 12V/25A with an input voltage from 36V to 60V (up to 65V during transients). This demo board features the LTM4660, which uses an architecture that merges soft-switching switched capacitor topology with a traditional step-down converter to provide superior efficiency compared to the traditional switching architectures. It offers a high efficiency/high density and cost effective solution for nonisolated intermediate bus applications in power distribution, datacom and telecom. Due to its current mode control architecture, multiple LTM4660s can be operated in a parallel, multiphase configuration with excellent current sharing and low output voltage ripple to enable much higher power applications. Other benefits include low EMI emissions due to a soft-switched front end and reduced MOSFET stress. The LTM4660 design eliminates the inrush current typically associated with switched capacitor circuits by pre-balancing the capacitors on start-up. The LTM4660 also monitors system voltage, current and temperature for faults. It stops switching and pulls the FAULT pin low when a fault condition occurs. An onboard timer can be set for appropriate restart/retry times. Additional features include ±1.5% output voltage accuracy over temperature, a clock output for multiphase operation, a power good output signal, short-circuit protection, monotonic output voltage start-up, optional external reference, undervoltage lockout and internal charge balance circuitry. The LTM4660 data sheet must be used in conjunction with this demo board manual.

LTM4663 Demo Board | Ultrathin 1.5A Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) μModule Regulator

Demonstration circuit DC2902A is a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) regulator featuring the LTM4663 μModule regulator. The demo board has a 2.7V to 5.5V input voltage range and can deliver up to 1.5A of sinking or sourcing current. Inside the LTM4663, a linear power stage works together with a PWM power stage to form an H-bridge configuration. The direction of the current fed through the TEC can be either positive (for cooling mode), or negative (for heating mode). The LTM4663 has two built-in zero drift, rail-to-rail chopper amplifiers which can serve as a thermistor input amplifier and form an analog temperature control loop. The LTM4663 provides a 1% accuracy 2.5V internal reference voltage to bias the thermistor temperature sensing circuit and to program the maximum TEC current and voltage limits for both the cooling and heating modes. The demo board has a default 2MHz switching frequency and can be synchronized to an external clock from 1.85MHz to 3.25MHz applied to the EN/SY input pin (JP1: EN/SY). The clock high level must be above 2.1V and the clock low level must be below 0.8V. Maximum TEC current limit can be programmed with a resistor, R7 (default: 1.5A for cooling mode; –1.5A for heating mode). Maximum TEC voltage limit can be programmed with a resistor, R10 (default: 5V for cooling mode; –4.8V for heating mode). Other features include VTEC output for TEC voltage monitor and ITEC output for TEC current monitor The LTM4663 datasheet gives a complete description of the operation and application information. The LTC2672 is a family of five-channel, 12-/16-bit current source, digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that provide five high compliance, current source outputs with guaranteed 0.6 V dropout at 200 mA. There are eight current ranges that are programmable per channel with full-scale outputs of up to 300 mA. The channels can be paralleled to allow either ultrafine adjustments of large currents or combined outputs of up to 1.5 A. A dedicated supply pin is provided for each output channel. Each channel can be operated from 2.1 V to VCC, and internal switches allow any output to be pulled to the optional negative supply. The LTC2672 includes a precision integrated 1.25 V reference (10 ppm/?C maximum), with the option to use an external reference.
