The ADM2761E/ADM2763E are 500 kbps, 5.7 kV rms, signal isolated RS-485 transceivers that pass radiated emissions testing to the EN 55032, Class B standard with margin on a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB). These devices are compliant to the RS-485 and RS-422 communication standards. The ADM2761E/ ADM2763E isolation barrier provides robust system level immunity to IEC 61000-4-x system level electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. The devices are suitable for applications that require insulation against working voltages of 1060 V rms and 1500 V dc for the lifetime of the device.The devices are protected against ??12 kV contact and ??15 kV air IEC 61000-4-2 electrostatic discharge (ESD) events on the RS-485 A, B, Y, and Z pins. The ADM2763E features a receiver cable invert pin to allow quick correction of the reversed cable connection on the A and B receiver bus pins while maintaining full receiver fail-safe performance.These devices are optimized for low speed over long cable runs and have a maximum data rate of 500 kbps. The high differential output voltage makes these devices suitable for PROFIBUS? nodes when powered with 5 V on the VDD2 supply. The VDD1 primary supply and VDD2 isolated supply both support a wide range of voltages (1.7 V to 5.5 V and 3.0 V to 5.5 V, respectively). The AD5764R is a quad, 16-bit, serial input, bipolar voltage output DAC that operates from supply voltages of ?11.4 V to ?16.5 V. Nominal full-scale output range is ?10 V. The AD5764R provides integrated output amplifiers, reference buffers, and proprietary power-up/power-down control circuitry. The part also features a digital I/O port, programmed via the serial interface, and an analog temperature sensor. The part incorporates digital offset and gain adjust registers per channel.The AD5764R is a high performance converter that provides guaranteed monotonicity, integral nonlinearity (INL) of ?1 LSB, low noise, and 10 ?s settling time. The AD5764R includes an on-chip 5 V reference with a reference temperature coefficient of 10 ppm/?C maximum. During power-up when the supply voltages are changing, VOUTx is clamped to 0 V via a low impedance path.The AD5764R is based on the iCMOS? technology platform, which is designed for analog systems designers within industrial/instrumentation equipment OEMs who need high performance ICs at higher voltage levels. iCMOS enables the development of analog ICs capable of 30 V and operation at ?15 V supplies, while allowing reductions in power consumption and package size, coupled with increased ac and dc performance.The AD5764R uses a serial interface that operates at clock rates of up to 30 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller interface standards. Double buffering allows the simultaneous updating of all DACs. The input coding is programmable to either twos complement or offset binary formats. The asynchronous clear function clears all data registers to either bipolar zero or zero scale, depending on the coding used. The AD5764R is ideal for both closed-loop servo control and open-loop control applications. The LTC2983 measures a wide variety of temperature sensors and digitally outputs the result, in ?C or ?F, with 0.1?C accuracy and 0.001?C resolution. The LTC2983 can measure the temperature of virtually all standard (type B, E, J, K, N, S, R, T) or custom thermocouples, automatically compensate for cold junction temperatures and linearize the results. The device can also measure temperature with standard 2-, 3- or 4-wire RTDs, thermistors and diodes. It has 20 reconfigurable analog inputs enabling many sensor connections and configuration options.
