The LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 are 12-/14-/16-bit, 50Msps differential current output DACs implemented on a high performance BiCMOS process with laser trimmed, thin-film resistors. The combination of a novel current-steering architecture and a high performance process produces DACs with exceptional AC and DC performance. The LTC1668 is the first 16-bit DAC in the marketplace to exhibit an SFDR (spurious free dynamic range) of 87dB for an output signal frequency of 1MHz.Operating from ?5V supplies, the LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 can be configured to provide full-scale output currents up to 10mA. The differential current outputs of the DACs allow single-ended or true differential operation. The ?1V to 1V output compliance of the LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 allows the outputs to be connected directly to external resistors to produce a differential output voltage without degrading the converter?s linearity. Alternatively, the outputs can be connected to the summing junction of a high speed operational amplifier, or to a transformer. The LTC1666/LTC1667/LTC1668 are pin compatible and are available in a 28-pin SSOP and are fully specified over the industrial temperature range.Applications Cellular Base Stations Multicarrier Base Stations Wireless Communication Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) xDSL Modems Arbitrary Waveform Generation Automated Test Equipment Instrumentation

The LTC3426 step-up switching regulator generates an output voltage of up to 5.5V from an input voltage as low as 1.6V. Ideal for applications where space is limited, it switches at 1.2MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost and low profile external components. Its internal 2A, 100m? NMOS switch provides high efficiency even at heavy load, while the constant frequency, current mode architecture results in low, predictable output noise that is easy to filter.Anti-ringing circuitry reduces EMI concerns by damping the inductor while in discontinuous mode, and internal soft-start eases inrush current worries. Internal frequency compensation is designed to accommodate ceramic output capacitors, further reducing noise. The device features very low shutdown current of 0.5?A.The LTC3426 is available in the 6-lead SOT-23 package.Protected by U.S. Patents, including 6498466, 6611131Applications White LED Driver Supply Local 3.3V or 5V Supply Battery Back-Up

LTC2449UHF Demo Board | 24-Bit High-Speed 8/16-Channel Delta Sigma ADC (Requires DC2026)
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 742B features the LTC2449, an 8-/16-channel, high speed, 24-bit ΔΣ ADC with ten selectable speed/resolution modes from 6.9Hz/200nVRMS to 3.5kHz/25μVRMS (4kHz with external oscillator). Key DC specifications include 5ppm INL, 5μV offset, 10ppm fullscale error and 20nV/°C offset drift. In the 6.9Hz/200nVRMS mode, input normal mode rejection of 50Hz and 60Hz noise is better than 87dB. The accuracy (offset, full-scale, linearity, drift) and power dissipation are independent of the speed selected. The LTC2449 performs auto-zeroing of the ADC by reversing the inputs through the multiplexer output/ADC input connections. This allows an external dual buffer amplifier to isolate the signal inputs from the sampling current of the ADC.

The LTC3441 is a high efficiency, fixed frequency, buck-boost DC/DC converter that operates efficiently from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides a continuous transfer function through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single lithium ion or multicell applications where the output voltage is within the battery voltage range. The device includes two 0.10? N-channel MOSFET switches and two 0.11? P-channel switches. External Schottky diodes are optional, and can be used for a moderate efficiency improvement. The operating frequency is internally set to 1MHz and can be synchronized up to 1.7MHz. Quiescent current is only 25?A in Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications. Burst Mode operation is user controlled and can be enabled by driving the MODE/SYNC pin high. If the MODE/SYNC pin is driven low or with a clock, then fixed frequency switching is enabled.Other features include a 1?A shutdown, soft-start control, thermal shutdown and current limit. The LTC3441 is available in a thermally enhanced 12-lead (4mm ? 3mm) DFN package.Applications Handheld Computers Handheld Instruments MP3 Players Digital Cameras

ADL5391-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADL5391 draws on three decades of experience in advanced analog multiplier products. It provides the same general mathematical function that has been field proven to provide an exceptional degree of versatility in function synthesis:VW?= ? ? (VX?x VY)/1 V + VZThe most significant advance in the ADL5391 is the use of anew multiplier core architecture, which differs markedly fromthe conventional form that has been in use since 1970. Theconventional structure that employs a current mode, translinearcore is fundamentally asymmetric with respect to the X and Yinputs, leading to relative amplitude and timing misalignmentsthat are problematic at high frequencies. The new multiplier coreeliminates these misalignments by offering symmetric signalpaths for both X and Y inputs. The Z input allows a signal to beadded directly to the output. This can be used to cancel a carrieror to apply a static offset voltage. The fully differential X, Y, and Z input interfaces are operationalover a ?2 V range, and they can be used in single-ended fashion. The user can apply a common mode at these inputs to varyfrom the internally set VPOS/2 down to ground. If these inputsare ac-coupled, their nominal voltage will be VPOS/2. These inputinterfaces each present a differential 500 ? input impedance up toapproximately 700 MHz, decreasing to 50 ? at 2 GHz. The gainscaling input, GADJ, can be used for fine adjustment of the gainscaling constant (?) about unity. The differential output can swing ?2 V about the VPOS/2common-mode and can be taken in a single-ended fashion aswell. The output common mode is designed to interface directlyto the inputs of another ADL5391. Light dc loads can be groundreferenced; however, ac-coupling of the outputs is recommendedfor heavy loads. The ENBL pin allows the ADL5391 to be disabled quickly to astandby mode. It operates off supply voltages from 4.5 V to 5.5 Vwhile consuming approximately 130 mA.The ADL5391 is fabricated on Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary, high performance, 65 GHz, SOI complementary, SiGe bipolarIC process. It is available in a 16-lead, RoHS compliant, LFCSPand operates over a ?40?C to +85?C temperature range.Evaluation boards are available.Applications Wideband multiplication and summing High frequency analog modulation Adaptive antennas (diversity/phased array) Square-law detectors and true rms detectors Accurate polynomial function synthesis DC capable VGA with very fast control
