Demonstration circuit 2262 is a PoE Powered Device (PD) with a synchronous forward isolated power supply featuring the LT4276 and an ideal diode bridge controller (LT4321). The LT4276 provides IEEE802.3af (PoE, Type 1), IEEE802.3at (PoE+, Type 2), and LTPoE++ PD interfacing and power supply control. When the PD is connected to a PSE, the LT4276 turns on an external, low-resistance, high-power N-channel Hot Swap™ FET. The LT4276 controls a high-power, small-sized power supply that utilizes a highly efficient, synchronously rectified, active clamp forward topology. The LT4321 provides further efficiency improvement by minimizing bridge losses.

The LTC2631 is a family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage-output DACs with an integrated, high accuracy, low-drift reference in an 8-lead TSOT-23 package. It has a rail-to-rail output buffer that is guaranteed monotonic.The LTC2631-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V, and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2631-H has a full-scale output of 4.096V, and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. A 10ppm/?C reference output is available at the REF pin.Each DAC can also operate in External Reference mode, in which a voltage supplied to the REF pin sets the fullscale output.The LTC2631 DACs use a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface. The LTC2631 operates in both the standard mode (clock rate of 100kHz) and the fast mode (clock rate of 400kHz).The LTC2631 incorporates a power-on reset circuit. Demonstration circuit DC1425A is a triple output synchronous step-up/dual step-down power supply featuring the LTC3859AIFE. The demo board is has the LTC3859AIFE buck inputs supplied from the boost output. With this boost-then-buck topology, the buck outputs maintain regulation over the entire 4.5V to 36V input range and the application is suitable for automotive or other battery fed applications where low quiescent current is important. The buck controllers provide 5V @ 5A and 8.5V @ 3A and the boost can supply 10V @ 2A when the bucks are drawing their maximim load current.

Demonstration circuit 1472 features the LTM4618EV μModule® regulator, a complete high efficiency synchronous buck regulator with tracking. The DC1472 input range is from 4.5V to 26.5V and is capable of delivering up to 6A of output current; however, current derating may be necessary under certain VIN, VOUT, frequency and thermal conditions. The output voltage is jumper programmable from 1.2V to 5V and can be set as low as 0.8V, the reference voltage of the LTM4618EV.

The LT3086 is a multi-feature, low dropout, low noise 2.1A linear regulator that operates over a 1.4V to 40V input supply range. Dropout voltage at 2.1A is typically 330mV. One resistor sets output voltage from 0.4V to 32V. Output voltage tolerance is guaranteed to ?2% over line, load and temperature. The LT3086 is stable with ceramic output capacitors, requiring a minimum of 10?F.The LT3086?s programmable cable drop compensation cancels output voltage errors caused by resistive connections to the load. A master/slave configuration allows paralleling of multiple devices for higher load current and heat spreading without external ballast resistor requirements.Output current and temperature monitoring along with a power good flag provide system diagnostic and debug capability. Internal fault circuitry includes thermal shutdown and current limit with foldback. Demonstration circuit 1238B features the LTM8021, a 36V 500mA step-down μModule® regulator. The output has been preset to 5V by a single resistor within the LTM8021’s output voltage range of 0.8V to 5V. An adjustable soft-start period may be implemented with the addition of a capacitor at C3. The input voltage range is from 7.5V to 36V for the default operating conditions. The LTM8021 may need more input voltage to start up than to run in steady state.
