The LT3435 is a 500kHz monolithic buck switching regulator that accepts input voltages up to 60V. A high efficiency 3A, 0.1? switch is included on the die along with all the necessary oscillator, control and logic circuitry. Current mode topology is used for fast transient response and good loop stability.Innovative design techniques along with a new high voltage process achieve high efficiency over a wide input range. Efficiency is maintained over a wide output current range by employing Burst Mode operation at low currents, utilizing the output to bias the internal circuitry, and by using a supply boost capacitor to fully saturate the power switch. Patented circuitry maintains peak switch current over the full duty cycle range.* Shutdown reduces input supply current to less than 1?A. External synchronization can be implemented by driving the SYNC pin with logic-level inputs. A single capacitor from the CSS pin to the output provides a controlled output voltage ramp (soft-start). The device also has a power good flag with a programmable threshold and time-out and thermal shutdown protection. The LT3435 is available in a 16-pin TSSOP package with an exposed pad leadframe for low thermal resistance.Applications High Voltage Power Conversion 14V and 42V Automotive Systems Industrial Power Systems Distributed Power Systems Battery-Powered Systems USB Powered Systems

The LT3468/LT3468-1/LT3468-2 are highly integrated ICs designed to charge photoflash capacitors in digital and film cameras. A patented control technique* allows for the use of extremely small transformers. Each device contains an on-chip high voltage NPN power switch. Output voltage detection* is completely contained within the device, eliminating the need for any discrete zener diodes or resistors. The output voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the turns ratio of the transformer. The LT3468 has a primary current limit of 1.4A, the LT3468-2 has a 1A limit, and the LT3468-1 has a 0.7A limit. These different current limit levels result in well controlled input currents of 500mA for the LT3468, 375mA for the LT3468-2 and 225mA for the LT3468-1. Aside from the differing current limit, the three devices are otherwise equivalent. The CHARGE pin gives full control of the part to the user. Driving CHARGE low puts the part in shutdown. The DONE pin indicates when the part has completed charging. The LT3468 series of parts are available in tiny low profile (1mm) SOT-23 packages.Applications Digital / Film Camera Flash PDA / Cell Phone Flash Emergency Strobe

The LTC3426 step-up switching regulator generates an output voltage of up to 5.5V from an input voltage as low as 1.6V. Ideal for applications where space is limited, it switches at 1.2MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost and low profile external components. Its internal 2A, 100m? NMOS switch provides high efficiency even at heavy load, while the constant frequency, current mode architecture results in low, predictable output noise that is easy to filter.Anti-ringing circuitry reduces EMI concerns by damping the inductor while in discontinuous mode, and internal soft-start eases inrush current worries. Internal frequency compensation is designed to accommodate ceramic output capacitors, further reducing noise. The device features very low shutdown current of 0.5?A.The LTC3426 is available in the 6-lead SOT-23 package.Protected by U.S. Patents, including 6498466, 6611131Applications White LED Driver Supply Local 3.3V or 5V Supply Battery Back-Up

The LTC3415 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase lockable constant frequency, current mode architecture. PolyPhase? operation allows multiple LTC3415s to run out of phase while using minimal input and output capacitance. The operating supply range is from 5.5V down to 2.5V, making it suitable for single Lithium-Ion battery as well as point of load power supply applications. Burst Mode operation provides high efficiency at low load currents. 100% duty cycle provides low dropout operation that extends operating time in battery-operated systems. The operating frequency is internally set at 1.5MHz, allowing the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching-noise sensitive applications, it can be externally synchronized from 0.75MHz to 2.25MHz. The PHMODE pin allows user control of the phase of the outgoing clock signal. The current sense comparator is factory trimmed for accurate output current sharing. Burst Mode operation is inhibited during synchronization or when the MODE pin is pulled low to reduce noise and RF interference.Applications Point of Load Power Supply Portable Instruments Distributed Power Systems Battery-Powered Equipment

The LTC3441 is a high efficiency, fixed frequency, buck-boost DC/DC converter that operates efficiently from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides a continuous transfer function through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single lithium ion or multicell applications where the output voltage is within the battery voltage range. The device includes two 0.10? N-channel MOSFET switches and two 0.11? P-channel switches. External Schottky diodes are optional, and can be used for a moderate efficiency improvement. The operating frequency is internally set to 1MHz and can be synchronized up to 1.7MHz. Quiescent current is only 25?A in Burst Mode operation, maximizing battery life in portable applications. Burst Mode operation is user controlled and can be enabled by driving the MODE/SYNC pin high. If the MODE/SYNC pin is driven low or with a clock, then fixed frequency switching is enabled.Other features include a 1?A shutdown, soft-start control, thermal shutdown and current limit. The LTC3441 is available in a thermally enhanced 12-lead (4mm ? 3mm) DFN package.Applications Handheld Computers Handheld Instruments MP3 Players Digital Cameras
