The LTC2379-18 is a low noise, low power, high speed 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a 2.5V supply, the LTC2379-18 has a ?VREF fully differential input range with VREF ranging from 2.5V to 5.1V. The LTC2379-18 consumes only 18mW and achieves ?2LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 18?bits with 101.2dB SNR.The LTC2379-18 has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisychain mode. The fast 1.6Msps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2379-18 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2379-18 automatically powers down between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. The LTC2379-18 features a unique digital gain compression (DGC) function, which eliminates the driver amplifier?s negative supply while preserving the full resolution of the ADC. When enabled, the ADC performs a digital scaling function that maps zero-scale code from 0V to 0.1 ? VREF and full-scale code from VREF to 0.9 ? VREF. For a typical reference voltage of 5V, the full-scale input range is now 0.5V to 4.5V, which provides adequate headroom for powering the driving amplifier from a single 5.5V supply.Applications Medical Imaging High Speed Data Acquisition Portable or Compact Instrumentation Industrial Process Control Low Power Battery-Operated Instrumentation ATE

The AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 are high performance, 24-bit, oversampled SAR analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 combine the benefits of a large dynamic range and input bandwidth, consuming 15 mW, 10.5 mW, and 8.5 mW power, respectively, and are contained in a 16-lead TSSOP package.Ideal for ultralow power data acquisition (such as PCI- and USB-based systems), the AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 provide 24-bit resolution. The combination of exceptional SNR, wide dynamic range, and outstanding dc accuracy make the AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 ideally suited for measuring small signal changes over a wide dynamic range. This is particularly suitable for applications where small changes on the input are measured on larger ac or dc signals. In such an application, the AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 accurately gather both ac and dc information. The AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 include an on-board digital filter (complete with linear phase response) that acts to elimi-nate out-of-band noise by filtering the oversampled input voltage. The oversampled architecture also reduces front-end antialias requirements. Other features of the AD7767 include a SYNC/PD (synchronization/power-down) pin, allowing the synchronization of multiple AD7767 devices. The addition of an SDI pin provides the option of daisy chaining multiple AD7767 devices. The AD7767/AD7767-1/AD7767-2 operate from a 2.5 V supply using a 5 V reference. The?AD7790/AD7791 are low-power, complete analog front ends for low frequency measurement applications. The device consumes 65 ?A of current typically when operated with a 3 V power supply and 75 ?A typical when operated with a 5 V power supply with the buffer disabled. The AD7791 contains a 24-bit S-D ADC with one differential input, which can be buffered or unbuffered. The AD7790 is a 16-bit version of the AD7791. The AD7790 has a peak-to-peak resolution of 16 bits at the default output data rate of 16.6 Hz while the AD7789 has a peak to peak resolution of 19 bits, which is equivalent to an effective resolution of 21.5 bits at this output data rate. The device operates from an internal clock. Therefore, the user does not have to supply a clock source to the device. The output data rate from the part is software programmable, allowing rates from 9.5 Hz to 120 Hz. The p-p resolution from the part varies with the programmed output data rate. With an output data rate of 16.6 Hz, simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection is achieved. Power supply monitoring is also included. The part can be used in single conversion mode whereby the device powers up, performs a single conversion and then returns to powerdown mode. Alternatively, it can be operated in continuous mode. In continuous conversion mode, the part can be configured to continuously read i.e. the conversions are placed on the serial bus automatically as soon as a conversion is complete (the user does not need to write to the ADC to read the data), assuming that the serial clock is applied to the device. The AD7790/AD7791 is housed in a 10-lead MSOP package.
