The LTC6433-15 is a gain-block amplifier with excellent linearity at frequencies below 100kHz to beyond 1000MHz and with low associated output noise. The unique combination of high linearity, low noise and low power dissipation makes this an ideal candidate for many signal-chain applications. The LTC6433-15 is easy to use, requiring a minimum of external components. It is internally input/output matched to 50? and it draws only 95mA from a single 5V supply. The LTC6433-15 operates over a wide bandwidth. A single demonstration circuit offers flat gain from 100kHz to 1GHz.While this device is not capable of DC coupled operation, users can define the low frequency cut-off by appropriate choice of external components.On-chip bias and temperature compensation maintain performance over environmental changes. The LTC6433-15 uses a high performance SiGe BiCMOS process for excellent repeatability compared with similar GaAs amplifiers. All A-grade LTC6433-15 devices are tested and guaranteed for OIP3 at 150MHz. The LTC6433-15 is housed in a 4mm ? 4mm 24-lead QFN package with an exposed pad for thermal management and low inductance.Applications Single-Ended IF Amplifier ADC Driver CATV Test Equipment

The LT3042 is a high performance low dropout linear regulator featuring LTC?s ultralow noise and ultrahigh PSRR architecture for powering noise sensitive RF applications. Designed as a precision current reference followed by a high performance voltage buffer, the LT3042 can be easily paralleled to further reduce noise, increase output current and spread heat on the PCB.The device supplies 200mA at a typical 350mV dropout voltage. Operating quiescent current is nominally 2mA and drops to <<1?A in shutdown. The LT3042?s wide output voltage range (0V to 15V) while maintaining unity-gain operation provides virtually constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth and load regulation, independent of the programmed output voltage. Additionally, the regulator features programmable current limit, fast start-up capability and programmable power good to indicate output voltage regulation. The LT3042 is stable with a minimum 4.7?F ceramic output capacitor. Built-in protection includes reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, internal current limit with foldback and thermal limit with hysteresis. The LT3042 is available in thermally enhanced 10-Lead MSOP and 3mm ? 3mm DFN packages.Applications RF Power Supplies: PLLs, VCOs, Mixers, LNAs Very Low Noise Instrumentation High Speed/High Precision Data Converters Medical Applications: Imaging, Diagnostics Precision Power Supplies Post-Regulator for Switching Supplies

The LT1506 is a 500kHz monolithic buck mode switching regulator functionally identical to the LT1374 but optimized for lower input voltage applications. It will operate over a 4V to 15V input range compared with 5.5V to 25V for the LT1374. A 4.5A switch is included on the die along with all the necessary oscillator, control and logic circuitry. High switching frequency allows a considerable reduction in the size of external components. The topology is current mode for fast transient response and good loop stability. Both fixed output voltage and adjustable parts are available. A special high speed bipolar process and new design techniques achieve high efficiency at high switching frequency. Efficiency is maintained over a wide output current range by keeping quiescent supply current to 4mA and by utilizing a supply boost capacitor to saturate the power switch. The LT1506 fits into standard 7-pin DD and fused lead SO-8 packages. Full cycle-by-cycle short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown are provided. Standard surface mount external parts are used, including the inductor and capacitors. There is the optional function of shutdown or synchronization. A shutdown signal reduces supply current to 20?A. Synchronization allows an external logic level signal to increase the internal oscillator from 580kHz to 1MHz.Applications Portable Computers Battery-Powered Systems Battery Charger Distributed Power

The LTC4368 protects applications from power supply voltages that may be too high, too low, or even negative and from overcurrent faults in both forward and reverse directions. The LTC4368 controls the gate voltage of a pair of external N-channel MOSFETs to ensure that the load is connected to the input supply only when there are no voltage or current faults. Two comparator inputs allow configuration of the overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) set points using an external resistive divider. A current sense resistor sets the forward and reverse circuit breaker current thresholds. After a forward current fault, the LTC4368 will either latchoff power, or retry after a user adjustable delay. After a reverse current fault, the LTC4368 waits for the output to fall 100mV below the input to reconnect power to the load. The LTC4368 has a 32ms turn-on delay that debounces live supply input connections and blocks 50Hz and 60Hz AC power. UV/OV faults also trigger the 32ms recovery delay before the external MOSFETs are turned back on.APPLICATIONS Reverse Battery Protection Portable Instrumentation Automotive and Industrial Surge Protection Energy Storage Systems
