The LT3071 is a low voltage, UltraFast? transient response linear regulator. The device supplies up to 5A of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 85mV. A 0.01?F reference bypass capacitor decreases output voltage noise to 25?VRMS. The LT3071?s high bandwidth permits the use of low ESR ceramic capacitors, saving bulk capacitance and cost. The LT3071?s features make it ideal for high performance FPGAs, microprocessors or sensitive communication supply applications.Output voltage is digitally selectable in 50mV increments over a 0.8V to 1.8V range. An analog margining function allows the user to adjust system output voltage over a continuous ?10% range. The IC incorporates a unique tracking function to control a buck regulator powering the LT3071?s input. This tracking function drives the buck regulator to maintain the LT3071?s input voltage to VOUT + 300mV, minimizing power dissipation.Internal protection includes UVLO, reverse-current protection, precision current limiting with power foldback and thermal shutdown. The LT3071 regulator is available in a thermally enhanced 28-lead, 4mm ? 5mm QFN package.APPLICATIONS FPGA and DSP Supplies ASIC and Microprocessor Supplies Servers and Storage Devices Post Buck Regulation and Supply Isolation

The LTC2942-1 measures battery charge state, battery voltage and chip temperature in handheld PC and portable product applications. Its operating range is perfectly suited for single cell Li-Ion batteries. A precision coulomb counter integrates current through an internal sense resistor between the battery?s positive terminal and the load or charger. Battery voltage and on-chip temperature are measured with an internal 14-bit No Latency ??? ADC. The three measured quantities (charge, voltage and temperature) are stored in internal registers accessible via the onboard SMBus/I2C interface. The LTC2942-1 features programmable high and low thresholds for all three measured quantities. If a programmed threshold is exceeded, the device communicates an alert using either the SMBus alert protocol or by setting a flag in the internal status register. LTM4607EV Demo Board | LTM4607(x4) Buck-Boost uModule, 6V ≤ VIN ≤ 36V, VOUT = 12V @ 20A

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit DC1601B is a PolyPhase® power supply featuring the LTM4607 power module, a complete high efficiency switching mode buck-boost power supply. The DC1601B input voltage range is from 6V to 36V and is capable of delivering up to 20A using four paralleled modules (DC1601B-C). The DC1601B demonstrates that paralleling modules is easy and reliable. The output voltage for the board is 12V. The rated load current per module is 5A in boost mode, however current derating may be necessary under certain VIN, VOUT, frequency, and thermal conditions. An onboard external clock is provided for synchronization and interleaving of phases to minimize input and output ripple. An internal phase-locked loop allows the LTM4607 to be synchronized to an external clock within the range of 200kHz to 400kHz. The LTM4607 default switching frequency on the DC1601B is set to 300kHz through the onboard LTC6902 clock generator which interleaves the paralleled phases.

Demonstration Circuit 1674A-A is dual input power manager/3.5A Li-Ion battery charger with I2C control and USB On-The-Go (OTG). The dual input multiplexer, overvoltage protection (OVP) and reverse voltage protection (RVP) is implemented with external N-channel MOSFETs. An onboard buck regulator generates the VOUT voltage from the active input voltage. This voltage is regulated to minimize the dissipation in the battery charger. The minimum voltage of the VOUT regulator is 3.5V to provide an instant-on function when the battery is fully discharged. Most functions on the LTC4155EUFD are controlled via the I2C serial interface. The LTC4155EUFD also provides extensive status information via the I2C serial interface.

The LT3512 is a high voltage monolithic switching regulator specifically designed for the isolated flyback topology. No third winding or opto-isolator is required for regulation as the part senses output voltage directly from the primary-side flyback waveform. The device integrates a 420mA, 150V power switch, high voltage circuitry, and control into a high voltage 16-lead MSOP package with four leads removed. The LT3512 operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 100V and delivers up to 4.5W of isolated output power. Two external resistors and the transformer turns ratio easily set the output voltage. Off-the-shelf transformers are available for several applications. The high level of integration and the use of boundary mode operation results in a simple, clean, tightly regulated application solution to the traditionally tough problem of isolated power delivery.Applications Isolated Telecom Power Supplies Isolated Auxiliary/Housekeeping Power Supplies Isolated Industrial, Automotive and Medical Power Supplies
