The LT5511 mixer is designed to meet the high linearity requirements of cable TV infrastructure downstream transmitters and wireless infrastructure transmit systems. The IC includes a differential LO buffer amplifier driving a double-balanced mixer. The LO, RF and IF ports can be easily matched to a broad range of frequencies for different applications. The LTC3718 is a high current, high efficiency synchronous switching regulator controller for DDR and QDR? memory termination. It operates from an input as low as 1.5V and provides a regulated output voltage equal to (0.5)VIN. The controller uses a valley current control architecture to enable high frequency operation with very low on-times without requiring a sense resistor. Operating frequency is selected by an external resistor and is compensated for variations in VIN and VOUT. The LTC3718 uses a pair of standard 5V logic level N-channel external MOSFETs, eliminating the need for expensive P-channel or low threshold devices.Forced continuous operation reduces noise and RF interference. Fault protection is provided by internal foldback current limiting, an output overvoltage comparator and an optional short-circuit timer. Soft-start capability for supply sequencing can be accomplished using an external timing capacitor. The LT1725 is a monolithic switching regulator controller specifically designed for the isolated flyback topology. It drives the gate of an external MOSFET and is generally powered from a third transformer winding. These features allow for an application input voltage limited only by external power path components. The third transformer winding also provides output voltage feedback information, such that an optoisolator is not required. Its gate drive capability coupled with a suitable external MOSFET can deliver load power up to tens of watts.The LT1725 has a number of features not found on most other switching regulator ICs. By utilizing current mode switching techniques, it provides excellent AC and DC line regulation. Its unique control circuitry can maintain regulation well into discontinuous mode in most applications. Optional load compensation circuitry allows for improved load regulation. An optional undervoltage lockout pin halts operation when the application input voltage is too low. An optional external capacitor implements a soft-start function. Demonstration circuit 857 features the LT3481EMSE and LT3481EDD in two step-down converter circuits, one configured for high efficiency and the other for small size. The high efficiency circuit switching at 800kHz is designed for 3.3V/2A output from a 4.5V to 34V input. The small size circuit switching at 2MHz demonstrates the LT3481’s ability to operate with a small inductor and output capacitor. It is designed for 5V output from an 8.5V to 22V input. The wide input range of the LT3481 allows a variety of input sources. The typical sources are automotive batteries, wall adaptors and industrial supplies. The current mode control scheme creates fast transient response and good loop stability. In addition, the LT3481’s integrated boost diode reduces the parts count. The low ripple Burst Mode® Operation of LT3481 not only allows the circuit to have high efficiency over a broad current range but also provides the low output ripple at light load conditions.
