Demonstration circuit 649 is a Telecom isolated DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3803 constant frequency current mode flyback controller. The DC649 converts an isolated 36V to 72V input and provides 2A of output current at 5V. The 200kHz constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light load to reduce low frequency noise generated over a wide range of load current. The converter provides high output voltage accuracy (typically ±2%) over wide load range with no minimum load requirement.

Demonstration circuit 2798A is a high voltage, dual-phase single output boost converter with 10V to 16V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from VIN to 48V. And the output can supply a 10A maximum load current. The demo board has a LTC7841 controller, which is a 60V dual-phase single output boost controller with digital power system management. Please see the LTC7841 data sheet for more detailed information. The DC2798A powers up to default settings and produces power based on the command from the serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay® onto your PC and use ADI’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. Demonstration circuit 534 is a fast transient response, very low dropout linear regulator featuring the 4A output current LT3150 linear regulator controller. The DC534 has an input voltage range of 1.1V to 10V and generates a jumper-selectable output voltage of 1.2V, 1.5V or 1.8V. With the LT3150 driving external N-channel MOSFETs as source followers, the DC534 can produce very fast transient response. The proper selection of the Rds(on) of the MOSFETs allows dropout voltages below 300 mV. These capabilities, plus its ability to maintain stable operation with ceramic output capacitors, make the DC534 voltage regulator ideally suited for low VIN-to-VOUT applications, such as microprocessor/microcontroller/FPGA power supplies.

The converter provides high output voltage accuracy (typically ±3%) over wide load range with no minimum load requirement. The demonstration circuit can be easily modified to generate different output voltages.

Demonstration circuit 1311 is a Telecom isolated DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3805/-5 constant frequency current mode flyback controller. The DC1311 converts an 18V to 72V input voltage to an isolated 3A of output current at 3.3V. The 300kHz constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light load to reduce low frequency noise generated over a wide range of load current. The converter provides high output voltage accuracy (typically ±2%) over wide load range with no minimum load requirement. The DC1311 also provides non-isolated design by removing opto coupler and LTC4430 circuit. The demonstration circuit can be easily modified to generate different output voltages up to 15V.
