The LTC2348-18 is an 18-bit, low noise 8-channel simultaneous sampling successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with differential, wide common mode range inputs. Operating from a 5V low voltage supply, flexible high voltage supplies, and using the internal reference and buffer, each channel of this SoftSpan? ADC can be independently configured on a conversion-by-conversion basis to accept ?10.24V, 0V to 10.24V, ?5.12V, or 0V to 5.12V signals. Individual channels may also be disabled to increase throughput on the remaining channels.The wide input common mode range and 118dB CMRR of the LTC2348-18 analog inputs allow the ADC to directly digitize a variety of signals, simplifying signal chain design. This input signal flexibility, combined with ?3LSB INL, no missing codes at 18 bits, and 96.7dB SNR, makes the LTC2348-18 an ideal choice for many high voltage applications requiring wide dynamic range.The LTC2348-18 supports pin-selectable SPI CMOS (1.8V to 5V) and LVDS serial interfaces. Demonstration circuit 2094A shows the proper way to drive the LTC®2348 family of ADCs. The LTC2348/LTC2347/LTC2343 are low noise, high speed, simultaneous sampling 16-/18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs. The demo manual refers to the LTC2348-18 but applies to all parts in the family, the only differences being the number of bits, number of channels and the maximum sample rate. The LTC2348-18 has a flexible SoftSpan™ interface that allows conversion-by-conversion control of the input voltage span on a per-channel basis. An internal 2.048V reference and 2X buffer simplify basic operation while an external reference can be used to increase the input range and the SNR of the ADC.

The LTC3649 is a high efficiency 60V, 4A synchronous monolithic step-down regulator. The regulator features a single resistor programmable output voltage, internal compensation and high efficiencies over a wide VOUT range.The step-down regulator operates from an input voltage range of 3.1V to 60V and provides an adjustable rail-to-rail output range from (VIN ? 0.5V) to ground while delivering up to 4A of output current. The switching frequency is also adjusted with an external resistor. A user-selectable mode input is provided to allow the user to trade off ripple noise for efficiency at light loads; Burst Mode operation provides the highest efficiency at light loads, while forced continuous mode provides low output ripple. The MODE/SYNC pin can also be used to allow the user to synchronize the switching frequency to an external clock.The LTC3649 operates with a peak current mode architecture that allows for fast transient response with inherent cycle-to-cycle current limit protection. Demonstration circuit DC1180 is a dual output regulator consisting of two identical constant frequency step-down converters, based on the LTC3407A monolithic dual synchronous buck regulator in the 3 × 3 DFN-10 package. The LTC3407A is similar to the LTC3407 but has a lower ripple Burst Mode operation and includes an optional external soft-start. The DC1180 has an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, and either output is capable of delivering up to 600mA of output current. In Burst Mode® operation, the DC supply current is typically only 25 µA (per channel) at no load, and less than 1 µA in shutdown. The DC1180 is a very efficient circuit: up to 96% for either circuit.

A constant-frequency current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable frequency of up to 780kHz. Power loss and supply noise are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out of phase.OPTI-LOOP? compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. Demonstration circuit 1212A-B is a monolithic step-dwon DC/DC switching regulatro featuring the LT3685 in the 3x3 DFN-10 package. The demo board provides 5V@2A from a 6.3V to 38V input and has transient protection up to 60V. The demo boards default switching frequency is 800kHz, but the LT3685 has a SYNC pin which allows frequency synchronization to an external clock over a 250kHz to 2MHz range. The LT3685's quiescent current is 0.9mA, while the LT3480 has a 70uA quiescent current.
An EMC filter at the input makes the circuit compatible with EMC standard EN55022 Class B.
