The AD7708 / AD7718?are complete analog front-ends for low frequency measurement applications. The AD7718 contains a 24-bit sigma delta ADC with PGA and can be configured as 4/5 fully-differential input channels or 8/10 pseudo-differential input channels. Two pins on the device are configurable as analog inputs or reference inputs. The AD7708 is a 16-bit version of the AD7718. Inputs signal ranges from 20mV to 2.56V can be directly converted using these ADCs. Signals can be converted directly from a transducer without the need for signal conditioning.The device operates from a 32 kHz crystal with an on-board PLL generating the required internal operating frequency. The output data rate from the part is software programmable. The peak-to-peak resolution from the part varies with the programmed gain and output data ratThe part operates from a single 3 V or 5 V supply. When operating from 3 V supplies, the power dissipation for the part is 3.84 mW typ. Both parts are pin-for-pin compatible allowing an upgradable path from 16 to 24 bits without the need for hardware modifications. The SSM2380 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, stereo, Class-D audio amplifier. It is designed to maximize performance for mobile phone applications. The application circuit requires a minimum of external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply. It is capable of delivering 2 W of continuous output power with 100 dB.Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used to provide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with other Class-D architectures. An added benefit of spread-spectrum ?-? modu-lation is that no synchronization (SYNC) is needed when using multiple Class-D amplifiers. For applications that require long speaker cables (>10 cm), the SSM2380 includes a user-selectable ultralow EMI emissions mode that eliminates the need for EMI filters at the Class-D outputs.The SSM2380 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typicalshutdown current of 20 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applying alogic low to the SD pin or through an optional independent channel soft shutdown via I2C.The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry. Thissuppression circuitry minimizes voltage glitches at the outputduring turn-on and turn-off, reducing audible noise on activationand deactivation.The fully differential inputs of the SSM2380 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltage isapproximately VDD/2.The SSM2380 is specified over the commercial temperature range(?40?C to +85?C). It has built-in thermal shutdown and outputshort-circuit protection. Nominal full-scale output range is ?10 V. The AD5764 provides integrated output amplifiers, reference buffers, and proprietary power-up/power-down control circuitry. The part also features a digital I/O port that is programmed via the serial interface. The part incorporates digital offset and gain adjust registers per channel.The AD5764 is a high performance converter that offers guaranteed monotonicity, integral nonlinearity (INL) of ?1 LSB, low noise, and 10 ?s settling time. During power-up (when the supply voltages are changing), VOUTx is clamped to 0 V via a low impedance path.The AD5764 uses a serial interface that operates at clock rates of up to 30 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller interface standards. Double buffering allows the simultaneous updating of all DACs. The input coding is programmable to either twos complement or offset binary formats. The asynchronous clear function clears the data register to either bipolar zero or zero scale depending on the coding used. The AD5764 is ideal for both closed-loop servo control and open-loop control applications. The AD5764 is available in a 32-lead TQFP, and offers guaranteed specifications over the ?40?C to +85?C industrial temperature range.
