The AD8274 is a difference amplifier that delivers excellent ac and dc performance. Built on Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary iPolar® process and laser-trimmed resistors, AD8274 achieves a breakthrough in distortion vs. current consumption and has excellent gain drift, gain accuracy, and CMRR.Distortion in the audio band is an extremely low 0.00025% (112 dB) at a gain of ½ and 0.00035% (109 dB) at a gain of 2 while driving a 600 Ω load.With supply voltages up to ±18 V (+36 V single supply), the AD8274 is well suited for measuring large industrial signals. Additionally, the part’s resistor divider architecture allows it to measure voltages beyond the supplies.With no external components, the AD8274 can be configured as a G = ½ or G = 2 difference amplifier. For single-ended applications that need high gain stability or low distortion performance, the AD8274 can also be configured for several gains ranging from −2 to +3.The excellent distortion and dc performance of the AD8274, along with its high slew rate and bandwidth, make it an excellent ADC driver. Because of the part’s high output drive, it also makes a very good cable driver.The AD8274 only requires 2.6 mA maximum supply current. It is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and is fully RoHS compliant. The AD8646 and the AD8647 are the dual, and the AD8648 isthe quad, rail-to-rail, input and output, single-supply amplifiersfeaturing low offset voltage, wide signal bandwidth, low inputvoltage, and low current noise. The AD8647 also has a lowpower shutdown function.The combination of 24 MHz bandwidth, low offset, low noise,and very low input bias current makes these amplifiers useful ina wide variety of applications. The AD7417 and AD7418 are 10-bit, 4-channel and single-channelADCs with an on-chip temperature sensor that can operate from asingle 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply. The devices contain a 15 μssuccessive approximation converter, a 5-channel multiplexer, atemperature sensor, a clock oscillator, a track-and-hold, and areference (2.5 V). The AD7416 is a temperature-monitoring onlydevice in an 8-lead package.The temperature sensor on the parts can be accessed via multiplexerChannel 0. When Channel 0 is selected and a conversionis initiated, the resulting ADC code at the end of the conversiongives a measurement of the ambient temperature (±1°C @ 25°C).On-chip registers can be programmed with high and low temperaturelimits, and an open-drain overtemperature indicator (OTI)output is provided, which becomes active when a programmedlimit is exceeded.A configuration register allows programming of the sense of theOTI output (active high or active low) and its operating mode(comparator or interrupt). A programmable fault queue counterallows the number of out-of-limit measurements that mustoccur before triggering the OTI output to be set to preventspurious triggering of the OTI output in noisy environments.An I2C® compatible serial interface allows the AD7416/AD7417/AD7418 registers to be written to and read back. The threeLSBs of the AD7416/AD7417 serial bus address can be selected,which allows up to eight AD7416/AD7417 devices to be connectedto a single bus.The AD7417 is available in a narrow body, 0.15 inch, 16-lead,small outline package (SOIC) and in a 16-lead, thin shrink,small outline package (TSSOP). The AD7416 and AD7418 areavailable in 8-lead SOIC and MSOP packages. Product Highlights The AD7416/AD7417/AD7418 have an on-chip temperature sensor that allows an accurate measurement of the ambient temperature (±1°C @ 25°C, ±2°C overtemperature) to be made. The measurable temperature range is −40°C to +125°C. An overtemperature indicator is implemented by carrying out a digital comparison of the ADC code for Channel 0 (temperature sensor) with the contents of the on-chip TOTI setpoint register. The AD7417 offers a space-saving, 10-bit analog-to-digital solution with four external voltage input channels, an onchip temperature sensor, an on-chip reference, and a clock oscillator. The automatic power-down feature enables the AD7416/ AD7417/AD7418 to achieve superior power performance. The ADP1882 / ADP1883 are versatile current-mode, synchronous step-down controllers that provide superior transient response, optimal stability, and current-limit protection by using a constant on-time, pseudo-fixed frequency with a programmable current-limit, current-control scheme. In addition, these devices offer optimum performance at low duty cycles by using valley current-mode control architecture. This allows the ADP1882 / ADP1883 to drive all N-channel power stages to regulate output voltages as low as 0.8 V.The ADP1883 is the power saving mode (PSM) version of the device and is capable of pulse skipping to maintain output regulation while achieving improved system efficiency at light loads (see the Power Saving Mode (PSM) Version (ADP1883) section for more information).Available in three frequency options (300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1.0 MHz, plus the PSM option), the ADP1882 / ADP1883 are well suited for a wide range of applications. These ICs not only operate from a 2.75 V to 5.5 V bias supply, but they also can accept a power input as high as 20 V.In addition, an internally fixed soft start period is included to limit input in-rush current from the input supply during startup and to provide reverse current protection during soft start for a pre-charged output. The low-side current-sense, current-gain scheme and integration of a boost diode, along with the PSM/forced pulse-width modulation (PWM) option, reduce the external part count and improve efficiency.The ADP1882 / ADP1883 operate over the -40°C to +125°C junction temperature range and are available in a 10-lead MSOP.

The AD5304/AD5314/AD5324 are quad 8-, 10-, and 12-bit buffered voltage output DACs in 10-lead MSOP and 10-lead LFCSP packages that operate from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, consuming 500 μA at 3 V. Their on-chip output amplifiers allow rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved with a slew rate of 0.7 V/μs. A 3-wire serial interface is used; it operates at clock rates up to 30 MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP interface standards.The references for the four DACs are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit, and ensure that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remains there until a valid write takes place to the device. The parts contain a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 200 nA @ 5 V (80 nA @ 3 V).The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment.
