MAX77597ETBB+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX77597 is a small, synchronous buck converter with integrated switches. The device is designed to deliver up to 300mA with input voltages from 3.5V to 36V, while using only 1.1µA quiescent current at no load (fixed-output version). Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the active-low RESET signal. The device can operate near dropout by running at 98% duty cycle, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The device offers fixed 3.3V. Frequency is fixed at 1.7MHz, which allows for small external components and reduced output ripple. The device offers both forced-PWM and skip modes of operation, with ultra-low quiescent current of 1.1µA in skip mode. The MAX77597 is available in a small (2mm x 2.5mm) 10-pin TDFN package and operates across the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.ApplicationsPortable Devices Powered from 2s, 3s, or 4s Li+ BatteriesUSB Type-C DevicesPoint-of-Load Applications

AD8597ACPZ-REEL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8597/AD8599 are very low noise, low distortion operational amplifiers ideal for use as preamplifiers. The low noise of 1.1 nV/√Hz and low harmonic distortion of −120 dB (or better) at audio bandwidths give the AD8597/AD8599 the wide dynamic range necessary for preamplifiers in audio, medical, and instru-mentation applications. The excellent slew rate of 14 V/μs and 10 MHz gain bandwidth make them highly suitable for medical applications. The low distortion and fast settling time make them ideal for buffering of high resolution data converters. The AD8597 is available in 8-lead SOIC and LFCSP packages, while the AD8599 is available in an 8-lead SOIC package. They are both specified over a −40°C to +125°C temperature range. The AD8597 and AD8599 are members of a growing series of low noise op amps offered by Analog Devices, Inc.Applications Professional audio preamplifiers ATE/precision testers Imaging systems Medical/physiological measurements Precision detectors/instruments Precision data conversion

MAX5976AETE+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX5976A/MAX5976B are integrated solutions for hot-swap applications requiring the safe insertion and removal of circuit line cards from a live backplane. The devices integrate a hot-swap controller, 24mΩ power MOSFET, and electronic circuit-breaker protection in a single package. The ICs are designed for protection of 2.7V to 18V supply voltages. The devices provide inrush current control and short-circuit detection during startup. During normal operation, the devices provide circuit-breaker protection against overload and short-circuit conditions. The circuit-breaker function disconnects the power to the load if the load current exceeds the circuit-breaker limit. The devices are factory-calibrated to deliver accurate overcurrent protection with ±10% accuracy. During a fault condition, the MAX5976A enters an autoretry mode while the MAX5976B latches off. Both versions feature a resistor-adjustable variable speed circuit-breaker threshold and overtemperature protection. Additional features include power-good and fault indicator outputs. The ICs are available in a 16-pin, 5mm x 5mm, TQFN-EP package and fully specified over the -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range.ApplicationsDisk Drive PowerIndustrialRAID SystemsServer I/O CardsStorage Bridge Bay

MAX5978ETJ+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX5978 hot-swap controller provides complete protection for systems with a supply voltage from 0 to 16V. The device includes four programmable LED outputs. The IC provides two programmable levels of overcurrent circuit-breaker protection: a fast-trip threshold for a fast turn-off, and a lower slow-trip threshold for a delayed turn-off. The maximum overcurrent circuit-breaker threshold range is set with a trilevel logic input (IRNG), or by programming through the I²C interface. The IC is an advanced hot-swap controller that monitors voltage and current with an internal 10-bit ADC, which is continuously multiplexed to convert the output voltage and current at 10ksps. Each 10-bit sample is stored in an internal circular buffer so that 50 past samples of each signal can be read back through the I²C interface at any time or after a fault condition. The device includes five user-programmable digital comparators to implement overcurrent warning and two levels of overvoltage/undervoltage detection. When measured values violate the programmable limits, an external active-low ALERT output is asserted. In addition to the active-low ALERT signal, the IC can be programmed to deassert the power-good signal and/or turn off the external MOSFET.The IC features four I/Os that can be independently configured as general-purpose input/outputs (GPIOs) or as open-drain LED drivers with programmable blinking. These four I/Os can be configured for any mix of LED driver or GPIO function. The device is available in a 32-pin thin QFN-EP package and operates over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range.ApplicationsBlade ServersDC Power MeteringDisk Drives/DASD/Storage SystemsNetwork Switches/RoutersSoft-Switch for ASICs, FPGAs, and Microcontrollers
