The MAX34408 and MAX34409 are two- and four-channelcurrent monitors that are configured and monitored with astandard I2C/SMBus serial interface. Each unidirectionalcurrent sensor offers precision high-side operation with alow full-scale sense voltage. The devices automaticallysequence through two or four channels and collect thecurrent-sense samples and average them to reduce theeffect of impulse noise. The raw ADC samples are comparedto user-programmable digital thresholds to indicateovercurrent conditions.
