The ADuM5401 / ADuM5402 / ADuM5403 / ADuM5404 arequad-channel digital isolators with isoPower®, an integrated,isolated dc-to-dc converter. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler® technology, the dc-to-dc converter provides up to 500 mW of regulated, isolated power at either 5.0 V or 3.3 Vfrom a 5.0 V input supply, or at 3.3 V from a 3.3 V supply at thepower levels shown in Table 1. These devices eliminate the need for a separate, isolated dc-to-dc converter in low power, isolated designs. The iCoupler chip scale transformer technology is used to isolate the logic signals and for the power and feedback pathsin the dc-to-dc converter. The ADuM120N/ADuM121N1 are dual-channel digital isolators based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maximum propagation delay is 13 ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3 ns at 5 V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0 ns maximum.The ADuM120N/ADuM121N data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 3 kV rms (see the Ordering Guide). The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8 V to 5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, dc correctness is ensured in the absence of input logic transitions. Two different fail-safe options are available in which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled.The ADuM120N0 is pin-compatible with the ADuM1285, and the ADuM120N1 is pin-compatible with the ADuM1280 and the ADuM1200. Demonstration circuit 2672A-A is a complete non-isolated 48V input, dual-output, high efficiency, high density µModule regulator with 30V to 58V input range. Each output can supply 25A maximum load current. The demo board has a LTM4664 µModule regulator, which is a dual 25A or single 50A step-down regulator with digital power system management. Please see the LTM4664 datasheet for more detailed information. DC2672A-A powers up to default settings and produces power based on configuration resistors without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay™ onto your PC and use ADI’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. The AD9371 is a highly integrated, wideband RF transceiveroffering dual channel transmitters and receivers, integrated synthesizers, and digital signal processing functions. The ICdelivers a versatile combination of high performance and low power consumption required by 3G/4G micro and macro BTSequipment in both FDD and TDD applications. The AD9371operates from 300 MHz to 6000 MHz, covering most of the licensed and unlicensed cellular bands. The IC supports receiver bandwidths up to 100 MHz. It also supports observation receiver and transmit synthesis bandwidths up to 250 MHz to accommodate digital correction algorithms.The transceiver consists of wideband direct conversion signalpaths with state-of-the-art noise figure and linearity.
