The ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ADA4610-4 are precision junction field effect transistor (JFET) amplifiers that feature low input noise voltage, current noise, offset voltage, input bias current, and rail-to-rail output. The ADA4610-1 is a single amplifier, the ADA4610-2 is a dual amplifier, and the ADA4610-4 is a quad amplifier.The combination of low offset, noise, and very low input bias current makes these amplifiers especially suitable for high impedance sensor amplification and precise current measurements using shunts. With excellent dc precision, low noise, and fast settling time, the ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ADA4610-4 provide superior accuracy in medical instruments, electronic measurement, and automated test equipment. Unlike many competitive amplifiers, the ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ADA4610-4 maintain fast settling performance with substantial capacitive loads. Unlike many older JFET amplifiers, the ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ADA4610-4 do not suffer from output phase reversal when input voltages exceed the maximum common-mode voltage range. The fast slew rate and great stability with capacitive loads make the ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ADA4610-4 ideal for high performance filters. Low input bias currents, low offset, and low noise result in a wide dynamic range for photodiode amplifier circuits. Low noise and distortion, high output current, and excellent speed make the ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ ADA4610-4 great choices for audio applications.The ADA4610-1/ADA4610-2/ADA4610-4 are specified over the −40°C to +125°C extended industrial temperature range.The ADA4610-1 is available in an 8-lead SOIC package and in a 5-lead SOT-23 package. The ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 are low noise, low distortion differential amplifiers with very low power consumption. They are an ideal choice for driving low power, high resolution, high performance SAR and sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with resolutions up to 18 bits from dc to 1 MHz on only 1.25 mA of quiescent current. The adjustable level of the output common-mode voltage allows the ADA4940-1/ ADA4940-2 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even-order harmonic distortion products.With the ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2, differential gain configurations are easily realized with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 are fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., complementary bipolar process, enabling them to achieve very low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 3.9 nV/√Hz. The low dc offset and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4940-1 / ADA4940-2 make them well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications.The ADA4940-1 is available in a Pb-free, 3 mm × 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. The ADA4940-2 is available in a Pb-free, 4 mm × 4 mm, 24-lead LFCSP. The pinout is optimized to facilitate printed circuit board (PCB) layout and minimize distortion. The SSM2518 is a digital input, Class-D power amplifier that combinesa digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a sigma-delta(Σ-Δ) Class-D modulator. This unique architecture enablesextremely low real-world power consumption from digitalaudio sources with excellent audio performance. The SSM2518is ideal for power sensitive applications, such as mobile phonesand portable media players, where system noise can corruptsmall analog signals such as those sent to an analog input audioamplifier.Using the SSM2518, audio data can be transmitted to the amplifierover a standard digital audio serial interface, thereby significantlyreducing the effect of noise sources such as GSM interference orother digital signals on the transmitted audio. The closed-loopdigital input design retains the benefits of an all digital amplifier,yet enables very good PSRR and audio performance. The threelevel, Σ-Δ Class-D modulator is designed to provide the leastamount of EMI interference, the lowest quiescent power dissipation,and the highest audio efficiency without sacrificingaudio quality.Input is provided via a serial audio interface, programmable toaccept all common audio formats including I2S and TDM. Controlof the IC is provided via an I2C control interface. The SSM2518can accept a variety of input MCLK frequencies and can useBCLK as the clock source in some configurations.Additional features include a soft digital volume control, deemphasis,and a programmable digital dynamic rangecompressor.The architecture of the SSM2518 provides a solution that offerslower power and higher performance than existing DAC plusClass-D solutions.
