The AD8638/AD8639 are single and dual wide bandwidth, auto-zero amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail output swing and low noise. These amplifiers have very low offset, drift, and bias current. Operation is fully specified from 5 V to 16 V single supply (±2.5 V to ±8 V dual supply).The AD8638/AD8639 provide benefits previously found only in expensive zero-drift or chopper-stabilized amplifiers. Using the Analog Devices, Inc., topology, these auto-zero amplifiers combine low cost with high accuracy and low noise. No external capacitors are required. In addition, the AD8638/AD8639 greatly reduce the digital switching noise found in most chopper- stabilized amplifiers.With a typical offset voltage of only 3 μV, drift of 0.01 μV/°C, and noise of 1.2 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8638/AD8639 are suited for applications in which error sources cannot be tolerated. Position and pressure sensors, medical equipment, and strain gage amplifiers benefit greatly from nearly zero drift over their operating temperature ranges. Many systems can take advantage of the rail-to-rail output swing provided by the AD8638/AD8639 to maximize signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).The AD8638/AD8639 are specified for the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The single AD8638 is available in tiny 5-lead SOT-23 and 8-lead SOIC packages. The AD8675 precision operational amplifier has ultralow offset, drift, and voltage noise combined with very low input bias currents over the full operating temperature range. The AD8675 is a precision, wide bandwidth op amp featuring rail-to-rail output swings and very low noise. Operation is fully specified from ±5 V to ±15 V.The AD8675 features a rail-to-rail output like that of the OP184, but with wide bandwidth and even lower voltage noise, com-bined with the precision and low power consumption like that of the industry-standard OP07 amplifier. Unlike other low noise, rail-to-rail op amps, the AD8675 has very low input bias current and low input current noise.With typical offset voltage of only 10 μV, offset drift of 0.2 μV/°C, and noise of only 0.10 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8675 is perfectly suited for applications where large error sources cannot be tolerated. For applications with even lower offset tolerances, the proprietary nulling capability allows a combination of both device and system offset errors up to 3.5 mV (referred to the input) to be compensated externally. Unlike previous circuits, the AD8675 accommodates this adjustment without adversely affecting the offset drift, CMRR, and PSRR of the amplifier. Precision instrumentation, PLL, and other precision filter circuits, position and pressure sensors, medical instrumentation, and strain gage amplifiers benefit greatly from the very low noise, low input bias current, and wide bandwidth. Many systems can take advantage of the low noise, dc precision, and rail-to-rail output swing provided by the AD8675 to maximize SNR and dynamic range.The smaller packages and low power consumption afforded by the AD8675 allow maximum channel density or minimum board size for space-critical equipment.The AD8675 is specified for the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The AD8675 amplifier is available in the tiny 8-lead MSOP, and the popular 8-lead, narrow SOIC, RoHS compliant packages. The ADCMP604 / ADCMP605 are very fast comparators fabricated on the Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary XFCB2 process. These comparators are exceptionally versatile and easy to use. Features include an input range from VEE − 0.5 V to VCCI + 0.2 V, low noise, LVDS-compatible output drivers, and TTL/CMOS latch inputs with adjustable hysteresis and/or shut-down inputs.The devices offer 1.5 ns propagation delays with 1 ps rms random jitter (RJ). Overdrive and slew rate dispersion are typically less than 50 ps.A flexible power supply scheme allows the devices to operate with a single 2.5 V positive supply and a −0.5 V to +2.7 V input signal range up to a 5.5 V positive supply with a −0.5 V to +5.7 V input signal range. Split input/output supplies, with no sequencing restrictions on the ADCMP605, support a wide input signal range with greatly reduced power consumption.The LVDS-compatible output stage is designed to drive any standard LVDS input. The comparator input stage offers robust protection against large input overdrive, and the outputs do not phase reverse when the valid input signal range is exceeded. The AD603 is a low noise, voltage-controlled amplifier for use in RF and IF AGC systems. It provides accurate, pin-selectable gains of −11 dB to +31 dB with a bandwidth of 90 MHz or +9 dB to 51+ dB with a bandwidth of 9 MHz. Any intermediate gain range may be arranged using one external resistor. The input referred noise spectral density is only 1.3 nV/√Hz, and power consumption is 125 mW at the recommended ±5 V supplies.The decibel gain is linear in dB, accurately calibrated, and stable over temperature and supply. The gain is controlled at a high impedance (50 MΩ), low bias (200 nA) differential input; the scaling is 25 mV/dB, requiring a gain control voltage of only 1 V to span the central 40 dB of the gain range. An overrange and underrange of 1 dB is provided whatever the selected range. The gain control response time is less than 1 μs for a 40 dB change.The differential gain control interface allows the use of either differential or single-ended positive or negative control voltages. Several of these amplifiers may be cascaded and their gain control gains offset to optimize the system SNR.The AD603 can drive a load impedance as low as 100 Ω with low distortion. For a 500 Ω load in shunt with 5 pF, the total harmonic distortion for a ±1 V sinusoidal output at 10 MHz is typically −60 dBc. The peak specified output is ±2.5 V minimum into a 500 Ω load.The AD603 uses a patented proprietary circuit topology—the X-AMP®. The X-AMP comprises a variable attenuator of 0 dB to −42.14 dB followed by a fixed-gain amplifier. Because of the attenuator, the amplifier never has to cope with large inputs and can use negative feedback to define its (fixed) gain and dynamic performance. The attenuator has an input resistance of 100 Ω, laser trimmed to ±3%, and comprises a 7-stage R-2R ladder network, resulting in an attenuation between tap points of 6.021 dB.
