AD8251ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8251 is an instrumentation amplifier with digitally programmable gains that has GΩ input impedance, low output noise, and low distortion, making it suitable for interfacing with sensors and driving high sample rate analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). It has high bandwidth of 10 MHz, low THD of −110 dB, and fast settling time of 785 ns (maximum) to 0.001%. Offset drift and gain drift are guaranteed to 1.8 μV/°C and 10 ppm/°C, respectively, for G = 8. In addition to its wide input common voltage range, it boasts a high common-mode rejection of 80 dB at G = 1 from dc to 50 kHz. The combination of precision dc performance coupled with high speed capabilities makes the AD8251 an excellent candidate for data acquisition. Furthermore, this monolithic solution simplifies design and manufacturing and boosts performance of instrumentation by maintaining a tight match of internal resistors and amplifiers. The AD8251 user interface consists of a parallel port that allows users to set the gain in one of two different ways (see Figure 1 in data sheet for the functional block diagram). A 2-bit word sent via a bus can be latched using the WR input. An alternative is to use transparent gain mode where the state of logic levels at the gain port determines the gain. The AD8251 is available in a 10-lead MSOP package and is specified over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range, making it an excellent solution for applications where size and packing density are important considerations. AD8337-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8337 is a low noise, single-ended, linear-in-dB, general-purpose variable gain amplifier (VGA) usable at frequencies from dc to 100 MHz; the −3 dB bandwidth is 280 MHz. Excellent bandwidth uniformity across the entire gain range and low output-referred noise makes the AD8337 ideal for gain trim applications and for driving high speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Excellent dc characteristics combined with high speed make the AD8337 particularly suited for industrial ultrasound, PET scanners, and video applications. Dual-supply operation enables gain control of negative-going pulses such as generated by photodiodes or photomultiplier tubes. The AD8337 uses the popular and versatile X-AMP® architecture, exclusively from Analog Devices, Inc., with a gain range of 24 dB. The gain control interface provides precise linear-in-dB scaling of 19.7 dB/V, referenced to VCOM.The AD8337 includes an uncommitted operational current-feedback preamplifier (PrA) that operates in inverting or noninverting configurations. Using external resistors, the device can be configured for gains of 6 dB or greater. The AD8337 is characterized by a noninverting PrA gain of 2× using two external 100 Ω resistors. The attenuator has a range of 24 dB, and the output amplifier has a fixed gain of 8× (18.06 dB). The lowest nominal gain range is 0 dB to 24 dB and can be shifted up or down by adjusting the preamp gain. Multiple AD8337s can be connected in series for larger gain ranges, and for interstage filtering to suppress noise and distortion, and for nulling offset voltages. The operating temperature range is –40°C to +85°C, and it is available in an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP.Applications Gain trim PET scanners High performance AGC systems I/Q signal processing Video Industrial and medical ultrasound Radar receivers

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8510/AD8512/AD8513 are single-, dual-, and quad-precision JFET amplifiers that feature low offset voltage, input bias current, input voltage noise, and input current noise. The combination of low offsets, low noise, and very low input bias currents makes these amplifiers especially suitable for high impedance sensor amplification and precise current measurements using shunts. The combination of dc precision, low noise, and fast settling time results in superior accuracy in medical instruments, electronic measurement, and automated test equipment. Unlike many competitive amplifiers, the AD8510/AD8512/AD8513 maintain their fast settling performance even with substantial capacitive loads. Unlike many older JFET amplifiers, the AD8510/AD8512/AD8513 do not suffer from output phase reversal when input voltages exceed the maximum common-mode voltage range.Fast slew rate and great stability with capacitive loads make the AD8510/AD8512/AD8513 a perfect fit for high performance filters. Low input bias currents, low offset, and low noise result in a wide dynamic range of photodiode amplifier circuits. Low noise and distortion, high output current, and excellent speed make the AD8510/AD8512/AD8513 great choices for audio applications. The AD8510/AD8512 are both available in 8-lead narrow SOIC_N and 8-lead MSOP packages. MSOP-packaged devices are only available in tape and reel. The AD8513 is available in 14-lead SOIC_N and TSSOP packages. The AD8510/AD8512/AD8513 are specified over the −40°C to +125°C extended industrial temperature range.Applications Instrumentation Multipole filters Precision current measurement Photodiode amplifiers Sensors Audio

The rail-to-rail input and output swings provided by the AD8551/AD8552/AD8554 make both high-side and low-side sensing easy. The AD8551/AD8552/AD8554 are specified for the extended industrial/auto motive temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The AD8551 single amplifier is available in 8-lead MSOP and 8-lead narrow SOIC packages. The AD8552 dual amplifier is available in 8-lead narrow SOIC and 8-lead TSSOP surface-mount packages. The AD8554 quad is available in 14-lead narrow SOIC and 14-lead TSSOP packages.Applications Temperature sensors Pressure sensors Precision current sensing Strain gage amplifiers Medical instrumentation Thermocouple amplifiers

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8605, AD8606, and AD8608 are single, dual, and quad rail-to-rail input and output, single-supply amplifiers. They feature very low offset voltage, low input voltage and current noise, and wide signal bandwidth. They use the Analog Devices, Inc. patented DigiTrim® trimming technique, which achieves superior precision without laser trimming. The combination of low offsets, low noise, very low input bias currents, and high speed makes these amplifiers useful in a wide variety of applications. Filters, integrators, photodiode amplifiers, and high impedance sensors all benefit from the combination of performance features. Audio and other ac applications benefit from the wide bandwidth and low distortion. Applications for these amplifiers include optical control loops, portable and loop-powered instrumentation, and audio amplification for portable devices. The AD8605, AD8606, and AD8608 are specified over the extended industrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The AD8605 single is available in 5-lead SOT-23 and 5-ball WLCSP packages. The AD8606 dual is available in an 8-lead MSOP, an 8-ball WLSCP, and a narrow SOIC surface-mounted package. The AD8608 quad is available in a 14-lead TSSOP package and a narrow 14-lead SOIC package. The 5-ball and 8-ball WLCSP offer the smallest available footprint for any surface-mounted operational amplifier. The WLCSP, SOT-23, MSOP, and TSSOP versions are available in tape-and-reel only.Applications Photodiode amplification Battery-powered instrumentation Multipole filters Sensors Barcode scanners Audio
