The LTC6954 is a family of very low phase noise clock distribution parts. Each part has three outputs and each output has an individually programmable frequency divider and delay. There are four members of the family, differing in their output logic signal type:LTC6954-1: Three LVPECL outputsLTC6954-2: Two LVPECL and one LVDS/CMOS outputsLTC6954-3: One LVPECL and two LVDS/CMOS outputsLTC6954-4: Three LVDS/CMOS outputsEach output is individually programmable to divide the input frequency by any integer from 1 to 63, and to delay each output by 0 to 63 input clock cycles. The output duty cycle is always 50%, regardless of the divide number. The LTC1799 is a precision oscillator that is easy to use and occupies very little PC board space. The oscillator frequency is programmed by a single external resistor (RSET). The LTC1799 has been designed for high accuracy operation (?1.5% frequency error) without the need for external trim components.The LTC1799 operates with a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and provides a rail-to-rail, 50% duty cycle square wave output. The CMOS output driver ensures fast rise/fall times and rail-to-rail switching. The frequency-setting resistor can vary from 3k to 1M to select a master oscillator frequency between 100kHz and 33MHz (5V supply). The three-state DIV input determines whether the master clock is divided by 1, 10 or 100 before driving the output, providing three frequency ranges spanning 1kHz to 33MHz (5V supply). The ADF4007 is a high frequency divider/PLL synthesizer that can be used in a variety of communications applications. It can operate to 7.5 GHz on the RF side and to 120 MHz at the PFD. It consists of a low noise digital PFD (phase frequency detec-tor), a precision charge pump, and a divider/prescaler. The divider/prescaler value can be set by two external control pins to one of four values (8, 16, 32, or 64). The reference divider is permanently set to 2, allowing an external REFIN frequency of up to 240 MHz.A complete PLL (phase-locked loop) can be implemented if the synthesizer is used with an external loop filter and a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator). The AD9517-01 provides a multi-output clock distribution function with subpicosecond jitter performance, along with an on-chip PLL and VCO. The on-chip VCO tunes from 2.55 GHz to 2.95 GHz. Optionally, an external VCO/VCXO of up to 2.4 GHz can be used.The AD9517-0 emphasizes low jitter and phase noise to maximize data converter performance, and it can benefit other applications with demanding phase noise and jitter requirements.The AD9517-0 features four LVPECL outputs (in two pairs) and four LVDS outputs (in two pairs). Each LVDS output can be reconfigured as two CMOS outputs. The LVPECL outputs operate to 1.6 GHz, the LVDS outputs operate to 800 MHz, and the CMOS outputs operate to 250 MHz.For applications that require additional outputs, a crystal reference input, zero-delay, or EEPROM for automatic configuration at startup, the AD9520 and AD9522 are available. In addition, the AD9516 and AD9518 are similar to the AD9517 but have a different combination of outputs.Each pair of outputs has dividers that allow both the divide ratio and coarse delay (or phase) to be set. The range of division for the LVPECL outputs is 1 to 32. The LVDS/CMOS outputs allow a range of divisions up to a maximum of 1024.The AD9517-0 is available in a 48-lead LFCSP and can be operated from a single 3.3 V supply. An external VCO, which requires an extended voltage range, can be accommodated by connecting the charge pump supply (VCP) to 5 V. The ADF4153A is a fractional-N frequency synthesizer that implements local oscillators in the upconversion and downconversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. It consists of a low noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, and a programmable reference divider. A sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) based fractional interpolator allows programmable fractional-N division. The INT, FRAC, and MOD registers define an overall N divider (N = (INT + (FRAC/MOD))). In addition, the 4-bit reference counter (R counter) allows selectable REFIN frequencies at the PFD input.
