The DS1086L EconOscillator™ is a 3.3V programmable clock generator that produces a spread-spectrum (dithered) square-wave output of frequencies from 130kHz to 66.6MHz. The selectable dithered output reduces radiated-emission peaks by dithering the frequency 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 4%, or 8% below the programmed frequency. The DS1086L has a power-down mode and an output-enable control for power-sensitive applications. The DS1090 is a low-cost, dithered oscillator intended to be used as an external clock for switched-mode power supplies and other low-frequency applications. The dithering or sweeping function reduces peak-radiated emissions from the power supply at its fundamental frequency, as well as harmonic frequencies. The device consists of a resistor-programmed master oscillator, factory-programmed clock prescaler, and a pin-programmed dither circuit. These features allow the DS1090 to be used in applications where a spread-spectrum clock is desired to reduce radiated emissions. A combination of factory-set prescalers and external resistor allows for output frequencies ranging from 125kHz to 8MHz. The MAX7375 is a silicon oscillator, intended as a low-cost improvement replacing ceramic resonators, crystals, and crystal oscillator modules used as the clock source for microcontrollers and UARTs in 3V, 3.3V, and 5V applications.The MAX7375 is a fully integrated oscillator, supplied at specific factory-trimmed frequencies with a rail-to-rail 50% duty cycle square-wave output. The oscillator frequency is generated directly without the use of a phase-locked loop (PLL). No additional components are used to set or adjust the frequency.Unlike typical crystal and ceramic resonator oscillator circuits, the MAX7375 is highly resistant to vibration and EMI. The MAX2620 combines a low-noise oscillator with two output buffers in a low-cost, plastic surface-mount, ultra-small µMAX® package. This device integrates functions typically achieved with discrete components. The oscillator exhibits low-phase noise when properly mated with an external varactor-tuned resonant tank circuit. Two buffered outputs are provided for driving mixers or prescalers. The buffers provide load isolation to the oscillator and prevent frequency pulling due to load-impedance changes. Power consumption is typically just 27mW in operating mode (VCC = 3.0V), and drops to less than 0.3µW in standby mode.
