Analog Devices Inc.
The AD1674 is a complete, multipurpose, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, consisting of a user-transparent on-board sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA), 10 volt reference, clock and three-state output buffers for microprocessor interface. The AD1674 is pin compatible with the industry standard AD574A and AD674A, but includes a sampling function while delivering a faster conversion rate. The on-chip SHA has a wide input bandwidth supporting 12-bit accuracy over the full Nyquist bandwidth of the converter. The AD1674 is fully specified for ac parameters (such as S/(N+D) ratio, THD, and IMD) and dc parameters (offset, full-scale error, etc.). With both ac and dc specifications, the AD1674 is ideal for use in signal processing and traditional dc measurement applications. The AD1674 design is implemented using Analog Devices' BiMOS II process allowing high performance bipolar analog circuitry to be combined on the same die with digital CMOS logic.Five different temperature grades are available. The AD1674J and K grades are specified for operation over the 0°C to +70°C temperature range. The A and B grades are specified from -40°C to +85°C; the AD1674T grade is specified from -55°C to +125°C. The J and K grades are available in both 28-lead plastic DIP and SOIC. The A and B grade devices are available in 28-lead hermetically sealed ceramic DIP and 28-lead SOIC. The T grade is available in 28-lead hermetically sealed ceramic DIP.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Industry Standard Pinout: The AD1674 utilizes the pinout established by the industry standard AD574A and AD674A. Integrated SHA: The AD1674 has an integrated SHA which supports the full Nyquist bandwidth of the converter. The SHA function is transparent to the user; no wait-states are needed for SHA acquisition. DC and AC Specified: In addition to traditional dc specifications, the AD1674 is also fully specified for frequency domain ac parameters such as total harmonic distortion, signal-to-noise ratio and input bandwidth. These parameters can be tested and guaranteed as a result of the onboard SHA. Analog Operation: The precision, laser-trimmed scaling and bipolar offset resistors provide four calibrated ranges: 0 V to +10 V and 0 V to +20 V unipolar, –5 V to +5 V and –10 V to +10 V bipolar. The AD1674 operates on +5 V and ±12 V or ±15 V power supplies. Flexible Digital Interface: On-chip multiple-mode three-state output buffers and interface logic allow direct connection to most microprocessors.

EVAL-AD7730LEBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7730L is a complete analog front end for weigh-scale and pressure measurement applications. The device accepts low-level signals directly from a transducer and outputs a serial digital word. Theinput signal is applied to a proprietary programmable gain front end based around an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by a low pass programmable digital filter, allowing adjustment of filter cutoff, output rate and settling time. The part features two buffered differential programmable gain analog inputs as well as a differential reference input. The device operates from a single +5 V supply. It accepts four unipolar analog input ranges: 0 mV to +10 mV, +20 mV, +40 mV and +80 mV and four bipolar ranges: ±10 mV, ±20 mV, ±40 mV and ±80 mV. The peak-to-peak resolution achievable directly from the part is 1 in 110,000 counts. An on-chip 6-bit DAC allows the removal of TARE voltages. Clock signals for synchronizing ac excitation of the bridge are also provided. The serial interface on the part can be configured for three-wire operation and is compatible with microcontrollers and digital signal processors. The AD7730L contains self-calibration and system calibration options, and features an offset drift of less than 5 nV/°C and a gain drift of less than 3 ppm/°C. The part is available in a 24-lead SOIC and 24-lead TSSOP package. It is a lower power version of the AD7730 (approximately 1/3 the power).

AD5684RBRUZ-RL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5684R nanoDAC+™ is a quad, 12-bit, rail-to-rail, voltage output DAC. The device includes a 2.5V, 2ppm/˚C internal reference (enabled by default) and a gain select pin giving a full-scale output of 2.5V (gain=1) or 5V (gain=2). The device operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply, is guaranteed monotonic by design and exhibits less than 0.1% FSR gain error and 1.5mV offset error performance. The device is available in a 3mm X 3mm LFCSP and a TSSOP package. The AD5684R also incorporates a power-on-reset circuit and a RSTSEL pin that ensures the DAC outputs power up to zero-scale or midscale, and remain there until a valid write takes place. Each device contains a per-channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 4 uA at 3 V while in power-down mode. The AD5684R employs a versatile SPI interface that operates at clock rates up to 50 MHz and includes a VLOGIC pin intended for 1.8V/3V/5V logic.Product Highlights High relative accuracy: AD5684R (12-bit): ±1LSB INL max Low drift on-chip reference: 2.5V, 2ppm/°C temperature drift Two package options: 3mm × 3mm 16-lead LFCSP or 16-lead TSSOPApplications Optical transceivers Base-station power amplifiers Process control (PLC I/O cards) Industrial automation Data acquisition systems
