The MAX9248/MAX9250 digital video serial-to-parallel converters deserialize a total of 27 bits during data and control phases. In the data phase, the LVDS serial input is converted to 18 bits of parallel video data and in the control phase, the input is converted to 9 bits of parallel control data. The separate video and control phases take advantage of video timing to reduce the serial-data rate. The MAX9248/MAX9250 pair with the MAX9247 serializer to form a complete digital video transmission system. For operating frequencies less than 35MHz, the MAX9248/MAX9250 can also pair with the MAX9217 serializer.The MAX9248 features spread-spectrum capability, allowing output data and clock to spread over a specified frequency range to reduce EMI. The data and clock outputs are programmable for a spectrum spread of ±4% or ±2%. The MAX9250 features output enable input control to allow data busing.Proprietary data decoding reduces EMI and provides DC balance. The DC balance allows AC-coupling, providing isolation between the transmitting and receiving ends of the interface. The MAX9248/MAX9250 feature a selectable rising or falling output latch edge. ESD tolerance is specified for ISO 10605 with ±10kV Contact Discharge and ±30kV Air-Gap Discharge.The MAX9248/MAX9250 operate from a +3.3V ±10% core supply and feature a separate output supply for interfacing to 1.8V to 3.3V logic-level inputs. The MAX3535E/MXL1535E isolated RS-485/RS-422 full-duplex transceivers provide 2500VRMS of galvanic isolation between the RS-485/RS-422 side and the processor or control logic side. These devices allow fast, 1000kbps communication across an isolation barrier when the common-mode voltages (i.e., the ground potentials) on either side of the barrier are subject to large differences. Isolation is achieved through integrated high-voltage capacitors. The MAX3535E/MXL1535E also feature a 420kHz transformer driver that allows power transfer to the RS-485 side using an external transformer.The MAX3535E/MXL1535E include one differential driver, one receiver, and internal circuitry to send the RS-485 signals and control signals across the isolation barrier (including the isolation capacitors). The MAX3535E/MXL1535E RS-485 receivers are 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 devices on the same bus.The MAX3535E/MXL1535E feature true fail-safe circuitry. The driver outputs and the receiver inputs are protected from ±15kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) on the interface side, as specified in the Human Body Model (HBM).The MAX3535E/MXL1535E feature driver slew-rate select that minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduces reflections. The driver outputs are short-circuit and overvoltage protected. Other features are hot-swap capability and isolation-barrier fault detection.The MAX3535E operates with a single +3V to +5.5V power supply. The improved secondary supply range of the MAX3535E allows the use of step-down transformers for +5V operation, resulting in considerable power savings. The MXL1535E operates with a single +4.5V to +5.5V power supply. The MXL1535E is a function-/pin-compatible improvement of the LTC1535. The device features power-mode UVLO with wide hysteresis and long deglitch time to compensate for twisted-pair cable resistive drop and to assure glitch-free transition between detection, classification, and power-on/-off phases.The MAX5940A/MAX5940C provide an active-high (PGOOD) open-drain output and a fixed UVLO threshold. The Maxim ICL7129A/MAX7129 is a high precision monolithic 4-1/2 digit A/D converter that directly drives a multiplexed liquid crystal display. Using a novel 'successive integration' technique, the ICL7129A/MAX7129 has a ±20,000 count resolution on both 2.00000V and 200.00mV ranges. It features high impedance differential inputs, excellent differential linearity, true ratiometric operation and auto polarity. The only external active component required to make precision DVM/DPMs is a reference. The overrange and underrange outputs and the 10:1 range changing input facilitate the design of autoranging systems. The ICL7129A/MAX7129 detects and flags a LOW BATTERY condition and also checks for continuity, giving a visual indication and a logic level output which can be used to generate an audible signal.The MAX7129 has a fullscale accuracy of 0.0005%, resolution of 10µV, zero reading drift of 0.5µV/°C, an input bias of 10pA max, and a rollover error of less than 1 count. Maxim has reduced the noise of the ICL7129A to 3µV—significantly lower than the MAX7129.
