The bidirectional I2C channels eliminate the need for splitting I2C signals into separate transmitand receive signals for use with standalone optocouplers.Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., isoPower technology, theon-chip isolated dc-to-dc converter provides a regulated, isolatedvoltage of 3.15 V to 5.25 V with up to 150 mW of output power.With the ADM3260, the iCoupler and isoPower channels, alongwith the I2C transceivers, can be integrated with semiconductorcircuitry, which enables a complete isolated I2C interface andallows the power converter to be implemented in a small formfactor. The ADuM2280 / ADuM2281 / ADuM2285 / ADuM2286 (also referred to as ADuM228x in this data sheet) are 5 kV rms dual-channel digital isolators based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers.With propagation delay at 24 ns maximum, pulse width distortion is less than 2 ns for C grade. Channel-to-channel matching is tight at 5 ns for C grade. The ADuM228x are available in two channel configurations with three different data rates up to 100 Mbps (see the Ordering Guide). All models operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling a voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, the ADuM228x isolators have a patented refresh feature that ensures dc correctness in the absence of input logic transitions. The ADuM6210 / ADuM6211 / ADuM6212 are dual-channel digital isolators with isoPower®, an integrated, isolated dc-to-dc converter. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology, the dc-to-dc converter provides regulated, isolated power that is adjustable between 3.135 V and 5.25 V. Input supply voltages can range from slightly below the required output to significantly higher. Popular voltage combinations and their associated power levels are shown in Table 2.The ADuM6210 / ADuM6211 / ADuM6212 eliminate the need for a separate, isolated dc-to-dc converter in low power, isolated designs. The RS-422 transmitter complementaryoutputs are closely matched and feature low timing skew between the complementary outputs. This is often an essential requirement to meet tight system timing specifications.All inputs feature ESD protection, all driver outputs feature high source and sink current capability and are internally protected against short circuits on the outputs. The AD8018 is a dual, high speed, low cost amplifier capable of driving low distortion signals to within 0.5 V of the supply rail. It is intended for use in single supply xDSL systems where low distortion and low cost is essential, and maximum reach on the line must be attained with the minimum of supply voltages. Each amplifier drives minimum 350 mA of output current and while maintaining -95 dBc of SFDR at 100 kHz, outstanding performance for any xDSL CPE application. The AD8018 is available with flexible standby and shutdown modes. Two bit control (1.5 V threshold referenced to DGND) will put the AD8018 into a full power standby (outputs low impedance) and shutdown (outputs high impedance).Fabricated in ADI's high speed XFCB process, the high bandwidth and fast slew rate of the AD8018 keep distortion to a minimum, while dissipating a minimum of power. The quiescent current of the AD8018 is low 9 mA/amplifier max. Low distortion, high output voltage drive, and high output current drive in small packages make the AD8018 ideal for use in low cost USB, PCMCIA and PCI Customer Premise Equipment for ADSL, SDSL, VDSL and proprietary xDSL systems.An evaluation board is available for this product and may be ordered using the following product number AD8018ARU-EVAL.
