The ADuM240D/ADuM240E/ADuM241D/ADuM241E/ADuM242D/ADuM242E are quad-channel digital isolators based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maximum propagation delay is 13 ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3 ns at 5 V operation. Channel matching is tight at 3.0 ns maximum.The ADuM240D/ADuM240E/ADuM241D/ADuM241E/ADuM242D/ADuM242E data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.0 kV rms (see the Ordering Guide). The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.8 V to 5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, dc correctness is ensured in the absence of input logic transitions. Two different fail-safe options are available, by which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied or the inputs are disabled. The ADD5205 is a white LED driver for backlight applications based on high efficiency, current mode, step-up converter technology. It is designed with a 0.3 Ω internal switch and 1 MHz fixed operating frequency. The ADD5205 contains four regulated constant current sources for uniform brightness intensity. Each current source is capable of driving up to 25 mA.The ADD5205 has four parallel strings of multiple series connected LEDs with ±2% current matching. The device provides adjustable current sources that drive up to 25 mA using an external resistor. The LED current can be controlled by a PWM signal input on the PWM pin. An internal circuit translates the PWM signal to an analog signal with an external capacitor and linearly controls the LED current.The ADD5205 has multiple safety protection features to prevent any damage during fault conditions. If one or more LEDs are open, the device disables the faulty current regulator automatically. The internal soft start prevents inrush current during startup. A thermal shutdown protection feature prevents thermal damage.The ADD5205 is available in a low profile, thermally enhanced 3 mm × 3 mm × 0.75 mm, 12-lead lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) and is specified over the temperature range of −25°C to +85°C.APPLICATIONS Smart PCs, PMPs, tablet PCs, UMPCs, and notebooks

The ADM3051 is a controller area network (CAN) physicallayer transceiver allowing a protocol layer CAN controller toaccess the physical layer bus. The ADM3051 complies withthe ISO 11898 standard. It is capable of running at data rates upto 1 Mbps.The device has current-limiting and thermal shutdown featuresto protect against output short circuits and situations where thebus may be shorted to ground or power terminals in 24 V buspower systems. The part is fully specified over the industrialtemperature range of −40°C to +125°C and is available in an8-lead SOIC package.Three operating modes are available: high speed, slope control,and standby. Pin 8 (RS) is used to select the operating mode.The low current standby mode can be selected by applying alogic high to RS.The device can be set to operate with slope control to limit EMIby connecting RS with a resistor to ground to modify the riseand fall of slopes. This mode facilitates the use of unshieldedcables. Alternatively, disabling slope control by connecting RSto ground allows high speed operation.
