The ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 are micropower, 4-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technologies, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as optocoupler devices. As shown in Figure 3 in the data sheet, in standard operating mode, when ENx = 0 (internal refresh enabled), the current per channel is less than 10 μA. When ENx = 1 (internal refresh disabled), the current per channel drops to less than 1 μA.The ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 family of quad 2.5 kV digital isolation devices are packaged in a small 16-lead QSOP and 20-lead SSOP, freeing almost 70% of board space compared to isolators packages in wide body SOIC packages. The devices withstand high isolation voltages and meet regulatory requirements, such as UL and CSA standards. In addition to the space savings, the ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 operate with supplies as low as 2.25 V.Despite the low power consumption, all models of the ADuM1440/ADuM1441/ADuM1442/ADuM1445/ADuM1446/ADuM1447 provide low, pulse width distortion at <8 ns. In addition, every model has an input glitch filter to protect against extraneous noise disturbances.APPLICATIONS General-purpose, low power multichannel isolation 1 MHz, low power peripheral interface (SPI) 4 mA to 20 mA loop process controls

The ADuM3480 / ADuM3481 / ADuM3482 are quad-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. With typical propagation delay reduced to 25 ns, pulse width distortion is also halved. The four channels of the ADuM3480 / ADuM3481 / ADuM3482 are available in a variety of channel configurations with two data rate grades up to 25 Mbps (see the Ordering Guide section). All models use separate core and I/O power supplies. The core operates between 3.0 V and 5.5 V, whereas the I/O supply can range from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. If operation is required within the range of the core supply, the two supplies can be tied together to allow single-supply operation. When the I/O must interface with logic levels that are different from the core supply voltage, then the I/O supply can be operated independently of the core supply over a wider range. The minimum I/O supply voltage is 1.8 V, allowing compatibility with low voltage logic. Both core and I/O supplies are required for proper operation.APPLICATIONS General-purpose multichannel isolation SPI interface/data converter isolation Industrial field bus isolation

The ADuM7640 / ADuM7641 / ADuM7642 / ADuM7643 are 6-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. These 1 kV digital isolation devices are packaged in a small 20-lead QSOP. They offer space savings and a lower price than 2.5 kV or 5 kV isolation solutions when only functional isolation is needed. This family, like many Analog Devices isolators, offers very low power consumption, using one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators, with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V. Despite their low power consumption, the ADuM7640 / ADuM7641 / ADuM7642 / ADuM7643 provide low pulse width distortion (< 6 ns for C grade) and a channel-by-channel glitch filter to protect the device against extraneous noise disturbances. Four channel direction combinations areavailable with a maximum data rate of 1 Mbps or 25 Mbps. Allproducts have a default output high logic state in the absence of input power.APPLICATIONS General-purpose, multichannel isolation SPI interface/data converter isolation RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 transceivers Industrial field bus isolation

EVAL-SSM3302Z
Analog Devices Inc.
The SSM3302 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, stereo Class-D audio amplifier. The application circuit requires minimal externalcomponents and operates from a single 7 V to 18 V supply. The device is capable of delivering 2 × 10 W of continuous output power into a 4 Ω load (or 2 × 8 W into 8 Ω) with 98 dB. Spread spectrum pulse density modulation (PDM) is used toprovide lower EMI radiated emissions compared with other Class-D architectures. The SSM3302 includes an optional modulation select pin (ultralow EMI emission mode) that significantly reduces the radiated emissions at the Class-D outputs, particularly above 100 MHz. The SSM3302 can pass FCC Class-B emissions testing with an unshielded 20 inch cable using common-mode choke-based filtering. The fully differential input of the SSM3302 provides excellent rejection of common-mode noise on the input. The device also includes a highly flexible gain select pin that only requires one series resistor to choose a gain between 9 dB and 24 dB, with no change to the input impedance. The benefit of this is to improve gain matching between multiple SSM3302 devices within a single application compared with using external resistors to set gain. The SSM3302 includes an integrated voltage regulator thatgenerates a 5 V rail. The SSM3302 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typical shutdown current of 10 μA. Shutdown is enabled by applying a logic low to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry that minimizes voltage glitches at the output during turn on and turn off, reducing audible noise during activation and deactivation.Other included features to simplify system level integration of the SSM3302 are input low-pass filtering to suppress out-ofband DAC noise interference to the pulse density modulator, fixed input impedance to simplify component selection across multiple platform production builds, and a thermal warning indicator pin.The SSM3302 is specified over the commercial temperaturerange (−40°C to +85°C). It has built-in thermal shutdown andoutput short-circuit protection. It is available in a halide-free,40-lead, 6 mm × 6 mm lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP).APPLICATIONS Mobile computing Flat panel televisions Media docking stations Portable electronics Sound bars
