The DS26518 is an 8-port framer and line interface unit (LIU) combination for T1, E1, J1 applications. Each port is independently configurable, supporting both long-haul and short-haul lines. The DS26518 Single-Chip Transceiver (SCT) is software and pinout compatible with the 4-port DS26514. The MAX9996 high-linearity downconversion mixer provides8.3dB gain, +26.5dBm IIP3, and 9.7dB NF for1700MHz to 2200MHz UMTS/W-CDMA, DCS, and PCSbase-station receiver applications. With a 1900MHz to2400MHz LO frequency range, this particular mixer isideal for high-side LO injection receiver architectures.Low-side LO injection is supported by the MAX9994,which is pin-for-pin and functionally compatible with theMAX9996.In addition to offering excellent linearity and noise performance,the MAX9996 also yields a high level of componentintegration. The DS1077L is a dual-output, programmable, fixed-frequency oscillator requiring no externalcomponents for operation. The DS1077L can be used as a processor-controlled frequency synthesizer oras a stand-alone oscillator. The two synchronous output operating frequencies are user-adjustable insubmultiples of the master frequency through the use of two on-chip programmable prescalers anddividers. The specific output frequencies chosen are stored in nonvolatile (EEPROM) memory. TheDS1077L defaults to these values upon power-up.The DS1077L features a 2-wire serial interface that allows in-circuit on-the-fly programming of theprogrammable prescalers (P0 & P1) and divider (N) with the desired values being stored in nonvolatile(EEPROM) memory. Design changes can be accommodated in-circuit, on-the-fly by simply programmingdifferent values into the device (or reprogramming previously programmed devices). Alternatively, forfixed-frequency applications previously programmed devices can be used and no connection to the serialinterface is required.
