ADE7757ARNZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADE7757 is an accurate electrical energy measurement integrated circuit. It is a pin reduction version of ADE7755 with an enhancement of a precise oscillator circuit that serves as a clock source to the chip. The ADE7757 eliminates the cost of an external crystal or resonator, thus reducing the overall cost of a meter built with this IC. The chip directly interfaces with shunt resistor. The ADE7757 provides instantaneous and average real power based on line current and voltage. The part specifications surpass the accuracy requirements as quoted in the IEC61036 standard. The only analog circuitry used in the ADE7757 is in the ADCs and reference circuit. All other signal processing (e.g., multiplication and filtering) is carried out in the digital domain. This approach provides superior stability and accuracy over extremes in environmental conditions and over time. The small analog input full-scale allows the chip to interface to low value shunt resistances without losing dynamic range. The ADE7757 is available in 16-lead SOIC narrow-body package. The Application Note AN-679 can be used as a basis for a description of an IEC61036 low cost, watt-hour meter reference design.NOTE: For polyphase system designs, the ADE7752A is recommended.

AD22057RZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD22057 is a single-supply difference amplifier for the amplification and low-pass filtering of small differential voltages from sources having a large common-mode voltage.Supply voltages from +3 V to +36 V can be used. The input common-mode range extends from below ground to 24 V using a +5 V supply with excellent rejection of this common-mode voltage. This range is achieved by the use of a special resitive attenuator at the input, laser trimmed to a very high differential balance. Low initial offset voltage and offset voltage drift are specified, and long-term stability of gain and offset voltage is also provided.Provisions are included for optional low-pass filtering and gain adjustment. An accurate midscale offset feature allows bipolar signals to be amplified.

AD5200BRMZ10
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5200 and AD5201 are programmable resistor devices, with 256 positions and 33 positions respectively, that can be digitally controlled through a 3-wire SPI serial interface. The terms programmable resistor, variable resistor (VR), and RDAC are commonly used interchangeably to refer to digital potentiometers. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment functionas a potentiometer or variable resistor. Both AD5200 / AD5201 contain a single variable resistor in the compact MSOP package. Each device contains a fixed wiper resistance at the wiper contact that taps the programmable resistance at a point determined by a digital code. The code is loaded in the serialinput register. The resistance between the wiper and either end point of the programmable resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. Each variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance, between the A terminal and the wiper, or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 10 kΩ or 50 kΩ has a nominal temperature coefficient of 500 ppm/°C. The VR has a VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. The VR latch is updated from an SPI-compatible serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. Eight data bits for the AD5200 and six databits for the AD5201 make up the data word that is clocked into the serial input register. The internal preset forces the wiper to the midscale position by loading 80H and 10H into AD5200 and AD5201 VR latches respectively. The SHDN pin forces the resistor to an end-to-end open-circuit condition on the A terminal and shorts the wiper to the B terminal, achieving a microwatt power shutdown state. When SHDN is returned to logic high, the previous latch setting puts the wiper in the same resistance setting prior to shutdown. The digital interface is still active during shutdown so that code changes can be made that will produce a new wiper position when the device is returned from shutdown. All parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C.APPLICATIONS Mechanical Potentiometer Replacement Instrumentation: Gain, Offset Adjustment Programmable Voltage to Current Conversion Programmable Filters, Delays, Time Constants Line Impedance Matching

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5291 and AD5292 are single-channel, 256-/1024-position digital potentiometers that combine industry leading variable resistor performance with nonvolatile memory (NVM) in a compact package. These devices are capable of operating across a wide voltage range, supporting both dual supply operation at ±10.5 V to ±16.5 V and single supply operation at +21 V to +33 V, while ensuring less than 1% end-to-end resistor tolerance error and offering 20-time programmable (20-TP) memory. The guaranteed industry leading low resistor tolerance error feature simplifies open-loop applications as well as precision calibration and tolerance matching applications. The AD5291 and AD5292 device wiper settings are controllable through the SPI digital interface. Unlimited adjustments are allowed before programming the resistance value into the 20-TP memory. The AD5291 and AD5292 do not require any external voltage supply to facilitate fuse blow, and there are 20 opportunities for permanent programming. During 20-TP activation, a permanent blow fuse command freezes the wiper position (analogous to placing epoxy on a mechanical trimmer). The AD5291 and AD5292 are available in a compact 14-lead TSSOP package. The part is guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +105°C.APPLICATIONS Mechanical potentiometer replacement Instrumentation: gain and offset adjustment Programmable voltage-to-current conversion Programmable filters, delays, and time constants Programmable power supply Low resolution DAC replacement Sensor calibration

AD9517-1ABCPZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9517-11 provides a multi-output clock distribution function with subpicosecond jitter performance, along with an on-chip PLL and VCO. The on-chip VCO tunes from 2.30 GHz to 2.65 GHz. Optionally, an external VCO/VCXO of up to 2.4 GHz can be used. The AD9517-1 emphasizes low jitter and phase noise to maximize data converter performance, and it can benefit other applications with demanding phase noise and jitter requirements. The AD9517-1 features four LVPECL outputs (in two pairs) and four LVDS outputs (in two pairs). Each LVDS output can be reconfigured as two CMOS outputs. The LVPECL outputs operate to 1.6 GHz, the LVDS outputs operate to 800 MHz, and the CMOS outputs operate to 250 MHz.For applications that require additional outputs, a crystal reference input, zero-delay, or EEPROM for automatic configuration at startup, the AD9520 and AD9522 are available. In addition, the AD9516 and AD9518 are similar to the AD9517 but have a different combination of outputs. Each pair of outputs has dividers that allow both the divide ratio and coarse delay (or phase) to be set. The range of division for the LVPECL outputs is 1 to 32. The LVDS/CMOS outputs allow a range of divisions up to a maximum of 1024.The AD9517-1 is available in a 48-lead LFCSP and can be operated from a single 3.3 V supply. An external VCO, which requires an extended voltage range, can be accommodated by connecting the charge pump supply (VCP) to 5 V. A separate LVPECL power supply can be from 2.5 V to 3.3 V (nominal). The AD9517-1 is specified for operation over the industrial range of −40°C to +85°C.Applications Low jitter, low phase noise clock distribution 10/40/100 Gb/sec networking line cards, including SONET, Synchronous Ethernet, OTU2/3/4 Forward error correction (G.710) Clocking high speed ADCs, DACs, DDSs, DDCs, DUCs, MxFEs High performance wireless transceivers ATE and high performance instrumentation 1AD9517 is used throughout the data sheet to refer to all the members of the AD9517 family. However, when AD9517-1 is used, it is refers to that specific member of the AD9517 family.
