The ADV7800 is a high quality, single-chip, multiformat 3D comb filter, video decoder, and graphics digitizer. This multiformat 3D comb filter decoder supports the conversion of PAL, NTSC, and SECAM standards in the form of a composite or an S-Video into a digital ITU-R BT.656 format. The ADV7800 also supports the decoding of a component RGB/YPbPr video signal into a digital YCrCb or RGB pixel output stream.The support for component video includes standards such as 525i, 625i, 525p, 625p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and many other HD and SMPTE standards. Graphics digitization is supported by the ADV7800; it is capable of digitizing RGB graphics signals from VGA to SXGA rates and converting them into a digital RGB or YCrCb pixel output stream. SCART and overlay functionality are enabled by the ability of the ADV7800 to simultaneously process CVBS and standard definition RGB signals.The ADV7800 contains two main processing sections. The first section is the standard definition processor (SDP), which processes all PAL, NTSC, SECAM, and component (up to 525p/625p) signal types. The ADMV8432 is a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), tunable band-pass filter that features a user selectable pass-band frequency. The 3 dB filter bandwidth is >17% of the center frequency (fCENTER). Additionally, fCENTER can be varied between 16.6 GHz to 30.1 GHz by applying an analog tuning voltage between 0 V to 15 V. The usable pass band corner frequencies (fCORNER) span from 15.1 GHz to 32 GHz. This tunable filter can be used as a much smaller alternative to physically large switched filter banks and cavity tuned filters. The AD8074 /AD8075 are high-speed triple video buffers with a G = +1 and +2 respectively. They operate on ?5V and have a -3dB full signal bandwidth in excess of 500MHz, along with slew rates in excess of 1350V/?s. With better than -80dB of all hostile crosstalk and 90dB isolation, they are useful in many high-speed applications. The differential gain and differential phase error are 0.01% and 0.01?. Gain Flatness of 0.1dB up to 70MHz make the AD8074/75 ideal for RGB buffering or driving. They consume less than 30mA on a ?5V supply voltage.??Both devices offer a high-speed disable feature that allows the outputs to be put into a high impedance state. This allows the building of larger input arrays while minimizing 'OFF' channel output loading. The AD8074/75 are offered in a 16 lead TSSOP package.

The ADuC841/ADuC842/ADuC843 are complete smart transducer front ends, that integrates a high performance self-calibrating multichannel ADC, a dual DAC, and an optimized single-cycle 20 MHz 8-bit MCU (8051 instruction set compatible)on a single chip.The ADuC841 and ADuC842 are identical with the exception of the clock oscillator circuit; the ADuC841 is clocked directly from an external crystal up to 20 MHz whereas the ADuC842 uses a 32 kHz crystal with an on-chip PLL generating a programmable core clock up to 16.78 MHz.The ADuC843 is identical to the ADuC842 except that the ADuC843 has no analog DAC outputs.The microcontroller is an optimized 8052 core offering up to 20 MIPS peak performance. Three different memory options are available offering up to 62 kBytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE program memory. Four kBytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE data memory, 256 bytes RAM, and 2 kBytes of extended RAM are also integrated on-chip. The parts also incorporate additional analog functionality with two 12-bit DACs, power supply monitor, and a band gap reference. On-chip digital peripherals include two 16-bit ?-?. DACs, a dual output 16-bit PWM, a watchdog timer, a time interval counter, three timers/counters, and three serial I/O ports (SPI, I2C, and UART).On the ADuC812 and the ADuC832, the I2C and SPI interfaces share some of the same pins. For backwards compatibility, this is also the case for the ADuC841/ADuC842/ADuC843.However, there is also the option to allow SPI operate separately on P3.3, P3.4, and P3.5, while I2C uses the standard pins. The EVAL-ADV7280MEBZ can receive analog video in CVBS , S-Video(YC) and Component (YPbPr) formats. The EVAL-ADV7280MEBZ converts analog video into an MIPI® CSI-2 output (8-bit YCrCb 4:2:2). The MIPI® CSI-2 output of the consists of one differential data lane (D0+ and D0-) and one differential clock lane (Clk+ and Clk-). These are output to the SMA connectors on the evaluation board.
