The ADuM1100 is a digital isolator based on Analog Devices Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocoupler devices.Configured as a pin-compatible replacement for existing high speed optocouplers, the ADuM1100 supports data rates as high as 25 Mbps and 100 Mbps.The ADuM1100 operates with a voltage supply ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V, boasts a propagation delay of <18 ns and edge asymmetry of <2 ns, and is compatible with temperatures up to 125°C. The ADT74701 controller is a multichannel temperature sensor and PWM fan controller and fan speed monitor for systems requiring active cooling. It is designed to interface directly to an I2C® bus. The ADT7470 can monitor up to 10 daisy-chained TMP05 temperature sensors. It can also monitor and control the speed of four fans, in automatic or in manual control loops.A FULL_SPEED input is provided to allow the fans to be blasted to maximum speed, via external hardware control, under extreme thermal conditions or on system startup. An SMBALERT interrupt communicates error conditions such as fan under speed and over temperature measurements to the system service processor. The AD725 is a very low cost general purpose RGB to NTSC/PAL encoder that converts red, green and blue color componentsignals into their corresponding luminance (basebandamplitude) and chrominance (subcarrier amplitude and phase)signals in accordance with either NTSC or PAL standards.These two outputs are also combined on-chip to provide acomposite video output. The AD8110 and AD8111 are high-speed 16 × 8 video crosspointswitch matrices. They offer a –3 dB signal bandwidthgreater than 260 MHz, and channel switch times of less than25 ns with 1% settling. With –78 dB of crosstalk and –97 dBisolation (@ 5 MHz), the AD8110/AD8111 are useful in manyhigh-speed applications. The AD8400/AD8402/AD8403 provide a single, dual or quad channel, 256 position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer or variable resistor. The AD8400 contains a single variable resistor in the compact SO-8 package. The AD8402 contains two independent variable resistors in saving SO-14 surface mount package. The AD8403 contains four independent variable resistors in 24-lead PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages. Each part contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the controlling serial input register. The resistance between the wiper and either endpoint of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. Each variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance, between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A to B terminal resistance of 1 kOhm, 10 kOhm, 50 kOhm or 100 kOhm has a ±1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance with a nominal temperature coefficient of 500 ppm/°C. A unique switching circuit minimizes the high glitch inherent in traditional switched resistor designs avoiding any make-before-break or break-before-make operation.Each VR has its own VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. These VR latches are updated from an SPI compatible serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. Ten data bits make up the data word clocked into the serial input register. The data word is decoded where the first two bits determine the address of the VR latch to be loaded, the last eight bits are data. A serial data output pin at the opposite end of the serial register allows simple daisy-chaining in multiple VR applications without additional external decoding logic.
