The ADAV801 is a stereo audio codec intended for applications such as DVD or CD recorders that require high performance and flexible, cost-effective playback and record functionality. The ADAV801 features Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary, high performance converter cores to provide record (ADC), playback (DAC), and format conversion (SRC) on a single chip. The ADAV801 record channel features variable input gain to allow for adjustment of recorded input levels and automatic level control, followed by a high performance stereo ADC whose digital output is sent to the record interface. The record channel also features level detectors that can be used in feedback loops to adjust input levels for optimum recording. The playback channel features a high performance stereo DAC with independent digital volume control.The sample rate converter (SRC) provides high performance sample rate conversion to allow inputs and outputs that require different sample rates to be matched. The SRC input can be selected from playback, auxiliary, DIR, or ADC (record). The SRC output can be applied to the playback DAC, both main and auxiliary record channels, and a DIT.Operation of the ADAV801 is controlled via an SPI-compatible serial interface, which allows the programming of individual control register settings. LT1568 Fourth Order Active RC Filter IC

Demonstration circuit DC675C is for the evaluation of filter circuits using an LT1568. The LT1568 is a dual 2nd order active-RCfilterbuildingblockwithprecision ±0.75% capacitors and low noise op amps with 180MHz GBW trimmed to ±10% maximum variation. The ±10% GBW variation of the LT1568 op amps allows for minimizing the higher frequency error by decreasing resistor values. The cutoff or center frequency (fC) range of an LT1568 filter is 200kHz to 10MHz (5MHz for a bandpass filter). The low limit of 200kHz was chosen only to minimize resistor noise and DC offsets (using external capacitors the fC frequency can be less than 200kHz). For testing and evaluation, the DC675C assembly is configured as a single 4th order, 500kHz narrow passband bandpass filter. For other possible LT1568 configurations, the DC675C has unused pads for 0805 surface mount resistors and capacitors preconfigured with PCB traces to allow for the following high accuracy LT1568 filter circuits: 4th order lowpass filter 5th order lowpass filter 4th order narrow passband bandpass 4th order wide passband bandpass 4th order highpass filter Refer to the LT1568 data sheet for additional information about filter circuit configurations.

The ADuC841/ADuC842/ADuC843 are complete smart transducer front ends, that integrates a high performance self-calibrating multichannel ADC, a dual DAC, and an optimized single-cycle 20 MHz 8-bit MCU (8051 instruction set compatible)on a single chip.The ADuC841 and ADuC842 are identical with the exception of the clock oscillator circuit; the ADuC841 is clocked directly from an external crystal up to 20 MHz whereas the ADuC842 uses a 32 kHz crystal with an on-chip PLL generating a programmable core clock up to 16.78 MHz.The ADuC843 is identical to the ADuC842 except that the ADuC843 has no analog DAC outputs.The microcontroller is an optimized 8052 core offering up to 20 MIPS peak performance. Three different memory options are available offering up to 62 kBytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE program memory. Four kBytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE data memory, 256 bytes RAM, and 2 kBytes of extended RAM are also integrated on-chip. The parts also incorporate additional analog functionality with two 12-bit DACs, power supply monitor, and a band gap reference. On-chip digital peripherals include two 16-bit ?-?. DACs, a dual output 16-bit PWM, a watchdog timer, a time interval counter, three timers/counters, and three serial I/O ports (SPI, I2C, and UART).On the ADuC812 and the ADuC832, the I2C and SPI interfaces share some of the same pins. For backwards compatibility, this is also the case for the ADuC841/ADuC842/ADuC843.However, there is also the option to allow SPI operate separately on P3.3, P3.4, and P3.5, while I2C uses the standard pins.
