The AD8110 and AD8111 are high-speed 16 × 8 video crosspointswitch matrices. They offer a –3 dB signal bandwidthgreater than 260 MHz, and channel switch times of less than25 ns with 1% settling. With –78 dB of crosstalk and –97 dBisolation (@ 5 MHz), the AD8110/AD8111 are useful in manyhigh-speed applications. The differential gain and differentialphase of better than 0.02% and 0.02° respectively, along with0.1 dB flatness out to 60 MHz, make the AD8110/AD8111ideal for video signal switching.The AD8110 and AD8111 include eight independent outputbuffers that can be placed into a high impedance state for parallelingcrosspoint outputs so that off channels do not load theoutput bus. The AD8110 has a gain of +1, while the AD8111offers a gain of +2. They operate on voltage supplies of ±5 Vwhile consuming only 50 mA of idle current. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer or variable resistor. The AD8400 contains a single variable resistor in the compact SO-8 package. The AD8402 contains two independent variable resistors in saving SO-14 surface mount package. The AD8403 contains four independent variable resistors in 24-lead PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages. Each part contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the controlling serial input register. The resistance between the wiper and either endpoint of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. Each variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance, between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A to B terminal resistance of 1 kOhm, 10 kOhm, 50 kOhm or 100 kOhm has a ±1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance with a nominal temperature coefficient of 500 ppm/°C. A unique switching circuit minimizes the high glitch inherent in traditional switched resistor designs avoiding any make-before-break or break-before-make operation.Each VR has its own VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. These VR latches are updated from an SPI compatible serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. Ten data bits make up the data word clocked into the serial input register. The data word is decoded where the first two bits determine the address of the VR latch to be loaded, the last eight bits are data. A serial data output pin at the opposite end of the serial register allows simple daisy-chaining in multiple VR applications without additional external decoding logic.

The ADV7180 automatically detects and converts standard analog baseband television signals compatible with worldwide NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards into 4:2:2 component video data compatible with the 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 interface standard.The simple digital output interface connects gluelessly to a wide range of MPEG encoders, codecs, mobile video processors, and Analog Devices, Inc., digital video encoders, such as the ADV7391. External HS, VS, and FIELD signals provide timing references for LCD controllers and other video ASICs, if required. Accurate 10-bit analog-to-digital conversion provides professional quality video performance for consumer applications with true 8-bit data resolution. Three analog video input channels accept standard composite, S-video, or component video signals, supporting a wide range of consumer video sources. AGC and clamp-restore circuitry allow an input video signal peak-to-peak range to 1.0 V. Alternatively, these can be bypassed for manual settings.The line-locked clock output allows the output data rate, timing signals, and output clock signals to be synchronous, asynchronous, or line locked even with ±5% line length variation. Output control signals allow glueless interface connections in many applications. The ADV7180 is programmed via a 2-wire, serial bidirectional port (I2C® compatible) and is fabricated in a 1.8 V CMOS process. Its monolithic CMOS construction ensures greater functionality with lower power dissipation. LFCSP package options makes the decoder ideal for space-constrained portable applications. The ADT74701 controller is a multichannel temperature sensor and PWM fan controller and fan speed monitor for systems requiring active cooling. It is designed to interface directly to an I2C® bus. The ADT7470 can monitor up to 10 daisy-chained TMP05 temperature sensors. It can also monitor and control the speed of four fans, in automatic or in manual control loops.A FULL_SPEED input is provided to allow the fans to be blasted to maximum speed, via external hardware control, under extreme thermal conditions or on system startup. The ADG2128 is an analog cross point switch with an array size of 8 × 12. The switch array is arranged so that there are eight columns by 12 rows, for a total of 96 switch channels. The array is bidirectional, and the rows and columns can be configured as either inputs or outputs. Each of the 96 switches can be addressed and configured through the I2C compatible interface. Standard, full speed, and high speed (3.4 MHz) I2C interfaces are supported. Any simultaneous switch combination is allowed. An additional feature of the ADG2128 is that switches can be updated simultaneously, using the LDSW command. In addition, a RESET option allows all of the switch channels to be reset/off. At power-on, all switches are in the off condition.
